It is so heartwarming to see genuine Customer Care in this day and age. We got to town around noon... 3:00 check in. Took the chance... "Of course you can check in early. We just happen to have a room ready." That doesn't happen everywhere !
During our evening, we noticed the water kept running after a flush. Looking inside, the valve flapper just wasn't seating correctly. I turned off the supply for the night. Couldn't hand loosen it at 6:00am. The young man brought me a pair of pliers within 4 minutes. His boss was there to check the problem, withing the next few.
These little things happen at hotels, old and new. It's the people that solve these problems, with a smile, that make us want to come back.
