Baia di Conte Resort

Great family friendly resort with good variety of fresh local food and wine in self service restaurant, nice beach and pools, in forest setting. Have been a few times and always find it very relaxing.

I stayed a week at the Baia Di Conte and returned home yesterday. I’m going to breakdown my review into parts. Accommodation: My room was a first floor room with a lovely view of the resort. The room was clean nicely presented and well kept. I had all the facilities I needed. Fridge, Safe and air conditioning. The only thing I’d suggest is maybe to add a couple of sports/movie channels in other languages (English) if possible. Other than that rooms were cleaned every day and always done professionally. 9/10 Reception staff: Although there was a slight language barrier Italian/English the reception staff were wonderful, very attentive and looked after me well. I did have a issue in my room and it was resolved within 15 mins 10/10 Food: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner were available and overall everything thing was really good and tasty things were presented well, fresh and had a number of options from salad’s, cheeses, bread, hot mains including fish, meat and vegetarian options, dessert and unlimited soft drinks and white/red wine. The restaurant was clean and well presented. The only thing I would suggest maybe is to use different sausages for breakfast as it was more like hotdog sausages than a breakfast sausage. But the food quality was very good 9/10 Restaurant/Bar/Beach Tavern Staff: All the staff were very polite, courteous and attentive. Always available and made sure every visit was a great. Made my visits enjoyable and relaxed 10/10 Facilities: Baia Di Conte has a number of facilities although I didn’t use all of them the ones I used were great and of a high standard and quality. 9/10 Baia Di Conte is a great place to stay the staff are amazing and make your stay perfect. Finally the most amazing feature for me is the private cove/beach it’s amazingly beautiful. I will miss my early morning walks there. It was absolutely stunning and peaceful first thing in the morning. I would definitely recommend Baia Di Conte to anyone looking to unwind and take it easy. The environment is beautiful and the staff and facilities make your stay really comfortable.

Arrived at this hotel today at around 2:30pm only to be told our room would be ready in 1 hour. So ai asked receptionist what we can do with our luggage and she said leave it near the front entrance where there was a sign for arrivals. I paid 2200 Euros for 7 nights (full board) at this hotel and they didn’t even have a safe room at reception to keep the luggage. Anyway we left the luggage unattended at the front of the hotel. I then asked her where the gym was in hope that we could maybe go and shower in the gym and change our clothes as it’s very hot day and we were not dressed appropriately for the weather. When we went downstairs to find a shower in the gym they didn’t even have one in the gym. So we ended changing our clothes in the toilet. We went to the snack bar by the pool to get some food and the chips were not fresh, they were sitting in a tin container to maintain the heat but they dry and hard. It was like they were cooked 3 hours before. The drinks which were free only included those from the drink machine. You get given small plastic cups to get your own drink from the machine. When we got to our room we were surprised to find that there was no iron or ironing board, no kettle or tea of coffee tray. Empty fridge and no bottles of water in the room. We requested an iron for our room but got told that they don’t have the facilities and we have to pay to use the laundry system which included wash and iron. The issue here is if the clothes get damaged by the system. For a four star hotel to not have the basic facilities is shocking to be honest. We were also charged 5 euros for a beach towel and had to give in 10 euro deposit. There is an additional city tax to pay. To be honest We have stayed in many 4 to 5 star hotels around the world and they all had the basic room facilities (iron, ironing board, slipper,gown, coffee and tea tray, bottles of water in the room). Staying here made us feel like they want to charge for everything. We even had to bring our own suitcases from the reception to the room. My point is this hotel overcharges for the price of accommodation and doesn’t deliver in service and facilities. The check in time is even more shocking I have never been to a hotel that checks in at 5pm and then expects you to be out of the room by 10am. If checkout is 10am why are the rooms not ready by 2pm latest on the day of arrival???. They need to make some major improvements at this hotel. Secure Storage facilities need to be added at reception if check in is at 5pm so that you can leave your suitcase. Showers in the gym or reception area so that people can freshen up after a long flight. Maybe have a few more restaurants if your calling the hotel a resort. Iron and coffee facilities in the room. Free beach towels and better drinks included in full board. Fresh food at the snack bar. Before I came here I asked for a room with a decent view. You will see in the photo below what I got for 2100 euros for 7 nig

Very good hotel, with nice food (to be all inclusive buffet). The hotel is clean, we had a family room for 4 (two kids 3 and 6 years old) and it was large and clean. Comfortable beds (very important for me 😊). Friendly helpful staff. GREAT beach! It is a bit tricky to find sun beds sometimes but the hotel has a policy that one should not leave towels and “book” sun beds, but not all guests follow that… it works fairly good. The entertainment group I active, and they play music at the beach and the pool, and I love music, but this is very LOUD! You can’t rely speak to your family when they are at it 🙈😊 (But after the week we realised that you could maybe choose the beach/pool at other times and “miss out “ the time with extremely loud music, but you still need to sit in the extreme music if you want to use the snack bar in the afternoon) The dinner starts at 19.30 at night witch is a bit late for our Nordic small children that usually goes to bed at 19.00-19.30, so they get very tired and hungry at that time. (I understand that it is normal for Italian kids to be up later that our kids 😊) Over all I’m very pleased with this family hotel.

Just back home from a week stay in Baia du Conte and we had a great time. Rooms spacious and very clean. The hotel is very nice kept and beautiful gardens. It’s so relaxing to walk around the gardens. The food was lovely with great choices. The staff and management was so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. The private beach was just a dream. Clean and lovely white sand. Swimming pool area was nice and clean. We would highly recommend this place for a holiday.

My family and I have been here for three (of 12) days now and are having a fantastic time. I wanted to write this review to refute some of the negatives I read before coming and which made us slightly hesitant. Either the hotel has undergone wholesale changes since those reviews or some serious nitpicking is going on. The negative reviews do not match our experience whatosever. The food is excellent , plentiful and varied . All staff are super friendly. The rooms are very large and comfortable, easily accommodating a family of four. The beds are also very comfortable. Hot and cold snacks are available pretty much all day. All inclusive soft does not include alcohol other than table wines at lunch and dinner. No big deal and clearly explained. Two good coffees cost four euros in total from the bar (hardly a rip off). There are loads of activities for all of the family, the pools are great and the beach even better. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a great family holiday.

The hotel is nice, but quite old. The room was certainly not worth the 4-star rating. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were courteous, but, due to several different teams working there, some things were overlooked (for example I was not told that, on a specific evening, there would be no dinner before 8:30pm - to their credit the restaurant staff did make me a sandwich at 7:30pm, as I did not want to wait until 8:30pm to eat). Having the tennis courts and pool available, as well as a lovely beach, was very convenient.

food excellent - had probs with room ... no bathplug - one was finally sourced but not good fit :( / also roomsafe failed (open fortunately and engineer sorted) beach/pool facilities limited as end of season but will defo go back for a 4th visit :) was amazing to see world wheelchair tennis tournament which was unexpected but so inspiring - so much enthusiasm from all the athletes from all the countries - was great experience and hotel great host/catering for event

What u pay is too high for what u get. Food is the worst ive ever had in italy. The authorities should check everything bcs THIS CAN'T be a 4 star resort. Its a fraud!!! You pay 170 euros for a soft all inclusive but u cant take a coffee from the bar before 09.00? Is this a joke? Worst experience ever. Dont do the same mistake we did.
