We stayed here for the weekend during a recent city break. It is true that you get what you pay for and this is the case for Hotel Leuka. The reception and welcome was good. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is a bath come shower arrangement with good water pressure and temperature the water was hot. The location is in a side street away from the main roads and only a short walk (3 minutes) from a C6 bus stop for transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is quite noisy as having hard (stone) floors with any footsteps or moving furniture can be heard. The walls between rooms are quite thin and people talking can be quite easily heard. Breakfast is plentiful though the scrambled egg and bacon were'luke warm'. There is a bar next door which we sat in for a couple of evenings. The drinks were really inexpensive. We enjoyed walking around the town and to the harbour with a day trip to Benidorm on the train. There's quite a lot to see in a weekend in Alicante and certainly worth a visit.

In Europe, there are 24 square-foot rooms that are oversized, and the service is good and clean. Because I do n’t like European meals, I cook with electric cups, but 1.5 yuan of freshly ground coffee is quite good. Museum, Barbara Castle, beach, yacht marina , Sailing Wharf, Acampo hypermarket are all nearby, and there are T1 ～ T4 subway transfer stations at the door, 23, 2 and C6 to the airport and train station bus station. Apart from Mela, it is the most beautiful in Alicante, but it is too expensive. I personally think that Maya is the most ideal and convenient.

Booked for 3 nights, knew it was going to be nothing fancy but the location was important, very short walk across the road from the beach and marina also the bus stop from/too the airport which was a big positive. Me and my girlfriend arrived at about 11:15 and asked to leave bags in as the website stated check-in was not to 16:00. After a short wait the receptionist said the room was now ready so at about 11:30 we were in our room! The room was a bit small with the a view of a brick wall but it was nice and clean with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. There were a few minor marks on the walls and a bit of stains in the bathroom but as stated earlier, we just wanted a clean basic room which overall it was. Fridge and safe it the room was an added bonus. We went down for breakfast on the first morning but it was nothing special and not worth getting up early for, didn't bother with it for the other 2 days apart from getting a coffee. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel, and would consider staying again if we were on a tight budget, but maybe next time we might try something a bit more special.

I stayed at the hostel for two nights and totally recommend it. The hostel is in a great location (just behind the Castillo Santa Barbara, near the market hall, near Ramblas and the old town). You can reach all important places by walking. The hostel itself is great. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean! The rooms are spacious and offer a locker (bring your own lock) and the beds each are equipped with a plug, a light and a small shelf. The curtains allow some kind of privacy. There are lots of showers and toilets and the kitchen offers coffee and tea for free. There's a fridge to store your things. Next to the kitchen is a small laundry room. All I all you do get a lot for the price and I totally recommend it.

The suite with the terrace on the top floor is great if you're after a studio in Alicante with outside space. I would have rated it as wonderful based on the outside space alone, except it absolutely stinks!!! They need to fix this problem before they let people stay here again. We noticed a sewage smell that kept coming and going and tried to ignore it. The smell comes from the sitting room which is really strange as it's not close to the bathroom. On the third night it was so overpowering in the living room where my 4 year old was sleeping that we couldn't risk him sleeping in there anymore. The hotel said no one could check it out until 10am the next morning so my son ended up sleeping in the hallway instead, as the main bed and bedroom are so small we couldn't fit him in with us. It really ruined the stay.

This boutique hotel is simply lovely. We did not hear a sound inside as walls so thick and no thin, creaky floorboards. We were woken one morning by the street cleaning van….but that was the council and nothing to do with hotel and obviously out of their control. The staff encountered 10/10* The location 10/10* right by everything! The breakfast 10/10* something for everyone! Fantastic rooftop with lovely views of Santa Barbara castle/fort ….we took our own wine up as not manned during the week only weekend. The airport C6 bus drops you off & picks you up for back to airport approx 3/5 minutes walk to/from hotel. The staff are so friendly, polite & helpful….best I’ve ever encountered as they were also consistent in their manner. Would also add, hotel is spotless and cleaned daily if you want your room to be….we declined that.

Spent a week here in February 2022. It’s position is perfect for the bars and restaurants, and everything going on. Check in was 10/10. All the staff were polite efficient and welcoming. Our room was spotless and was cleaned to perfection every day. The bed was comfy and decor was very tasteful. Good size shower and bathroom. Lovely roof terrace with amazing views. The buffet breakfast was good. Nice choice and I liked the fact that the coffee machine produced hot coffee. Covid restrictions were observed The only issue was that because it’s in the middle of everything we were woken up a few times during the weekend nights very early mornings due to it being a lively area. There’s no pool or bar but it’s so near the beach and restaurants that you won’t miss it. I would recommend this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for a clean, comfortable stay
