I stayed for three nights, and could not have been happier with the comfort of the room, the COVID-cleanliness and precautions they took, and - most of all - the service from the staff. I needed help with an international call and in booking a ferry after I left the hotel: they helped with both. And they didn't need to ... my international call didn't go through from the room (probably my goof), and they placed the call for me. When I had tried to book a ferry to Istanbul on a website that kept finalizing the transaction in Turkish, they helped me sort out the inputs. AND when my US credit cards were not accepted, they even booked using a corporate card, and added the expense/no surcharge, to my room. Finally, when I left my camera in cab after leaving the hotel, they worked with my (future) tour leader in identifying the cab, holding the camera for me, and mailing it to me forward on the trip. They didn't have to do any of this: I'd already left the hotel ... but they were excellent in helping me out. The location is good, per the other reviews, but what really makes them stand apart is how they genuinely take care of the hotel guests both in general property conditions as well as making the stay a comfortable one.

The staff are GREAT, everything else is terrible. This hotel is one of the worse hotels we have stayed in, in a very longtime. It is OLD and very TIERED. The rooms were clean but felt dirty because everything was so old, the bathroom was from the 1950's, just horrible. The A/C did not work in the whole building, only the heat, we had to sleep with open balcony doors. The elevators are also very old and tiered, this whole building needs a serious renovation, or better yet, complete demolition and rebuild. There was no interior parking either, so guest cars stay in the all star sky parking. A hotel NEVER to stay at ever again.

I have visited the hotel for a business meeting and I got very pleasant surprised by it and its staff. The people in the hotel and the staff at the reception were very supportive and helped me with some urgent issues that appeared at the time of my stay. The front desk staff, bell boy, and others we interacted with treated us well, including those at the breakfast/restaurant area. The room was an average room (nice and clean), we didn't get a room with a view, at least that is what was available. That is why I'm giving 3 stars. We ended up using the swimming pool and spa area. After using it for about 20 minutes, a staff member came and told us - to be quiet. We (two of us) didn't even talk as both of us were on our phones. Again, they came back and told us they have another important (high-level Turkish) client and they didn't want us talking at all. I made sure I cancel my massage and hammam booking, I also told them that we are also important and as long as they are treating clients with levels - they can't earn my hard-earned money in that attitude. We complained to the on-duty manager and at that time, we made up our mind to cancel and nothing could change our decision. To be fair, the hotel was good for the price we paid ＜$50 and couldn't complain, but it's the disrespect that made us cancel.

Worst hotel we stayed in Ankara. The staff of the hotel is incredibly rude. we had to go down again and again because there was a problem with the door card and the door. We preferred the hotel for the massage, but it was an underground salon independent from the hotel and the prices were higher and lower quality than the alternatives. If you are just looking for a hotel in the center or if you are looking for a spa hotel, it should definitely be your last choice. The ventilation of the bathroom is bad and it smells. The walls are very thin, you can listen to the conversation of the next room completely. They charge exorbitant fees for the products in the room.

I have traveled around the world and my stay at Sheraton Ankara was, for sure, one of my handful excellent experiences. The hotel was well maintained, really prime location in Ankara with immediate access to best restaurants, cafes, and shoppings. The city view from the room was beautiful. But above everything else, the staff were very polite and helpful. The lobby environment is very welcoming and beautiful, with a very nice bar at the center. I’d like to particularly thank Melek and Golsen who were extremely kind to me and my partner to host us at the bar. Staff and people always are the most important part of your experience when you stay somewhere, and Sheraton is certainly lucky to have people like them in their team.

The breakfast is great, there are many tricks, and the omelette is the best. There is a gym and a swimming pool, the location is better, and the room size is comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a wide view. It was a good stay experience. No matter how hot the pool water temperature is, it will be perfect. The swimming pool water temperature is slightly colder.

This by far was the best hotel stay for our Turkey trip. The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and the view was outstanding. This hotel is near most of Ankara's attractions, train and tax locations. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing and beyond average. We forgot one of our valuable documents in the room and we called from Istanbul to locate it. The receptionist with the name Melike helped us find it and scanned it for us and emailed it. Malike thank you for your help, that document was important and you did outstanding job scanning and emailing it.

Stayed for 11 days: Beautiful hotel which is super clean and comfortable. Fresh Chocolates to die for, made in the hotel! Decor of the chandeliers is amazing. Restaurant meals were delicious with a lot of healthy dishes Salmon noodle (eristeli somon) and ot kavurma (fried herbs and veggie) were my favorites You should definitely try the tahini dessert as well. Massive swimming pool, constantly checked for cleanliness. I forgot my slippers in the room but I was given a pair of free flip flops as a courtesy Room was super comfortable Bed was massive and so relaxing( i think the duvet was from duck feathers and the mattress was very thick and ergonomic) Carpets were white very soft and super clean. Work area: Very well thought and comfortable. I was able to log in from work from the work station Dry Cleaning: Collected and delivered to the room Reception staff were very helpful. Upon providing our passports they helped us to apply for HES codes (essential to get into shops in Covid environment). Hotel ventilation was very well thought, and checked frequently to ensure air quality is good.

The best hotel ever, and clean so clean and staff was so friendly, we came after the earthquake from Adiyaman and they made us discount for that and we stayed few nights,we were so tired and cold after sleeling 7 days in car and 16 in tent. The breakfast was nice, the manager was always speaking to my daughter and looking after her knowing the situation she been through... Even the cleaner ladies were so good and smily faces and speaking nice and polite so much thanks for them. The hotel place is so good near to karanfil street where the restaurants are and like 10-15 mnts walking to the Kızılay mall.

This hotel is very well situated for the old town of Ankara. The check in process was fast and easy. The hotel look modern and well kept. The Room was good and comfortable, unfortunately the location of the hotel is in a busy main street in the centre of Ankara, so the noise from traffic is very loud even in the high floors, the hotel may have rooms that are more quiet, but ours was not one of those. Breakfast was a decent Turkish breakfast, but a coffee latte was extra charge. The service was good in general. Overall the hotel is a good choice, and if you get a quiet room then, is a excellent choice in the centre of Ankara.

We entered to stay in a different hotel in Ankara with my wife but we weren't happy and went to the shop by chance and told the friend at the reception that he welcomed us very well. He told us that we would be more nice to stay in the suite room because we were first to stay, and gave us the suite room instead of the standard. We were happy with everything.Clean foods smiled personnel .... Our address is clear every time we arrive in Ankara afterwards. It is a great exquisite, elite people and extreme guests.
