Arroyo Seco Hotels with Wi-Fi

The big negative was no internet and no Verizon cell signal available. The system was there but no one in our group of 6 could connect. Possibly re-booting the hotel router would have solved the problem but the skeleton staff with zero English (against our zero Spanish) while trying to be helpful could not help. 3 km out of town. Pretty isolated unless you have a car. The bar in the hotel was closed, the hotel restaurant was down the hill, maybe 100 yards on the main road which makes sense for the hotel. Basic Mexican menu but beer and red wine only. No white wine, no wine list, no margaritas, but we were told rum was available. This is a sister hotel to Mision Jalpan which had cell service and good internet outside of our room. Large room but another negative, no chairs, or desk. There was a dresser and a bench which could hold 2 suitcases plus two beds. A plus was fully controllable a/c and Kleenex, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows....No wash cloths. So if you can do without the internet it is a fine place to stay.
