The hotel has a very good location. The grocery is just across the street. Despite it's an old hotel, it's very clean and tidy. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Food selections during breakfast and dinner were good. I recommend this hotel.

Went to Greece with a tour group and was very disappointed with their decision to stay at Zafolia Hotel. The one positive thing to say is that it was clean. I greatly appreciate that. However, the beds come with a plastic liner that crunches when you turn over and it became very hot when trying to sleep. The restaurant buffet for breakfast was awful. Instant eggs, raw bacon, only one coffee machine….and the gentleman who managed the cafe area was constantly barking orders to the staff. Very rude. For a hotel who hosts so many groups, you would think the quality would be better. No ice machines. Front desk was not friendly. Towels were thin and scratchy. Luckily we were in Athens to see the city so we weren’t at the hotel much.

Tired and worn out hotel. Beds, pillows, towels all old and need to be replaced with new ones. Rooms not ready until 3:00 PM so lobby is full of tourists sleeping on all the sofas. I bought an 8 ounce bottle of sparkling water for 5 euros! Breakfast buffet was awful.

Our beds are equipped with new branded mattresses and hollow fiber pillows. Please note that you can contact our staff for any issue you might face, they will do their best to facilitate your stay. Our guests are travelers from all over the world and sometimes there are very early arrivals. The official check in is at 3pm, but we are always trying to offer the rooms to our guests as early as possible. However, when the hotel is fully booked, we need the proper time to clean the rooms. We are expecting our guests while staying in a 4-star hotel, will behave accordingly but our staff cannot take responsibility for their actions. Last but not least, our breakfast is among the highest rated services of our hotel, it consists of more than 70 products besides beverages and can satisfy any taste. Great Hotel Really good staff. The room are spotless and comfortable. And breakfast is excellent. Public transport is outside the door, but taxis are low cost so often a better option. We dined in teh Restaurant on our first night and the evening meal was also very good. The rooms had very good WiFi also.

This hotel caters to large groups. This is our 4th time here. Several groups of students were there at the same time. Noisy, unsupervised, locked up elevators by pushing all buttons, making it difficult for those of us who needed to use it. Staff did what they could. Wish adults in charge of group were more proactive.

We have traveled extensively, however I have not stayed in a hotel that tried any harder to make our stay pleasant. Their breakfast buffet in beyond excellent. We also had some challenges that were no fault of the hotel, however they went above and beyond the call of duty to provide us with support.

The zafolia hotel was absolutely amazing!! The pool was very refreshing after a hot day and in the evening there were fantastic views of the sunset all across Athens. The staff were very friendly and always making sure we were happy. The food at the pool bar was delicious great portions, my dad says normal western food. For breakfast in the morning there was a great selection of food and many tables to sit on. It was a 1k walk to ambelokipi metro and a yellow taxi would be around 5€ into the city. The interconnecting rooms were perfect for our family of 5. We were close to mum and dad and had a good amount of space to get ready in. I really enjoyed my stay here and would be more than happy to go there again. Isla (12) Isla 12

The hotel is very clean, updated with a nice pool on roof. All the staff are helpful a d polite. A little distance from center but cab was 6 euros. Counld see the Parthenon and highest mount in area.

The hitel qas very nice, pool was great with roof top pool. A little distance from center of town but taxi not expensive.

Big shout out to the front desk staff at Zafolia Hotel. They were super helpful with multiple challenges and needs on our recent trip to Greece. While we experienced hiccups with other parts of our trip, the staff at Zafolia were wonderful and helped find solutions to our problems. They were patient, supportive, and super friendly. They were great ambassadors for Greece! They're also conveniently located to other things in a charming part of Athens. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Athens for the first time!!

The hotel was comfortable and tidy. The staff was great always very kind and helpful. Has a nice pool and roof top. Although it was quite busy due to the season. The check in and out process was very smooth. The AC was not very powerful, but also there was an extremely hot weather at the moment, even for Greek summer.

Property cheap but the room not clean and was charged 35 euros for extra bed bet I used for one day only a mask for refund the staff they have to wait for the manger to come he Will decided I paid for 3 night I left after 2 days I can’t stay in that hotel again
