THE NEW ROOM WAS WITH AN EXCELLENT VIEW OF THE ACROPOLIS OF ATHENS - JUST AS I PAID FOR. 2. THE FIRST ROOM WE GOT HAD A ”BLOWN” BATHROOM DOOR WHICH WOULD NOT CLOSE. 3. The location is perfect for a visit to Acropolis, museums and shopping. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and serviceminded. The rooftop garden is a gem, and the pool perfect for a swim and relaxing by the pool eg in the middle of the day. The ravioli at the rooftop bar was the ‘best ever’ We split our days, eg visited the Acropolis museum in the morning, went for a mid day swim and walked up to Akropolis in the afternoon without crowds. The reception was giving very good suggestions for days out, eg to Glyfada and Vouliagmeni for shopping and a swim, also for eating out. The room beds and pillows were very good. We would love to come back, in particular because of the hospitality, very friendly and knowledgable staff!

The Dolli aspires to be the most luxurious hotel in Athens. However, the Daily rate is very important, in line with some of the main European cities, not corresponding to a standard and service of the international hotel industry to which the structure aims to belong. The size of a big deluxe is quite too small, rather the size of the 4-stars graceful metres are returned. The garden is too small, there is little space for baggage, forced to leave baggage on the floor. I stayed in the hotel 2 times and the junior suite, absolutely different level, though personally, I like to have a closet in the room rather than the outdoor clothes. The location is central, too, rather in the centre of the most commercial part of Athens, characterized by the less sofisticated shops and restaurants of the tourists who are unknown to the best spots in the city, The decor is very soft and very sophisticated. The bathrooms and all furnishings are beautiful. The hotel is very small and is more close to a 4-star boutique hotel than a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel. The hotel is located in the elevator, just 2 people, I understand that it is from a historic palace, but it is a little tight, a little empathical service. A little with that world of self-referency and disgrace that doesn't make you feel happy guests

Stayed five days with friends. Booked four rooms. Staff were very friendly, as for me is a Greeks, some of the most hospitable people in the world. The breakfast was plentiful, staff again done a great job. It was a very busy As it’s a conference Hotel really. However that didn’t mean that it was bad. The pool was mostly quiet. And spotless clean as was the whole hotel. Heard some say it was far away from city. For us we didn’t think so, it was literally a 15 minute walk right to the centre, however if you cross the very busy road, your literally among some great non touristy restaurants and cafes. I never felt the staff or the policy of the hotel was to attempt to get money from you for extras, everyone was very integrity minded. My only slight gripe was that the maid service was a bit inconsistent, so the room wasn’t made up to the same standard each day. However I mentioned it to the reception and received a letter and bottle of wine, which wasn’t expected but appreciated. On a plus the rooms are huge, with a nice sitting area and large bathroom. Only other thing. As we book four rooms for 5 nights , and our flight was leaving late and we needed a room to stay later, I felt the 117 euros for late checkout was a bit steep and as we had booked the four rooms I think they could have gave us a bigger discount than have the room rate , as is their policy obviously. Other than that. It was a great hotel considering its massive size. Would definitely recommend. It’s not Dubai 5 star so if that’s what you expect you will be discounted. However it’s very good and very genuine, spotless clean and great staff.

Booked two rooms for a three day stay and both rooms were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom in my room was smaller than my daughters but for me it was fine. Small bath but I managed to use it. The staff are great and breakfast was a good start to the day ahead. Nice coffee. Our flight back to the uk was cancelled due to air traffic control going on strike and the hotel let us stay another night without any fuss even letting us stay in the same rooms. All in all I have no regrets booking this hotel and for the price it’s a great choice. Reception booked our taxi to the airport and it was a fixed price of 40 euros.

Very satisfied apartment. First of all, the room type meets all our requirements: one bedroom has two separate separate beds and the other bedroom has a queen bed. In fact, there is an oversized sofa in the living room that can sleep two more adults (the sofa needs to solve the cover problem by itself, and ask the owner if he agrees). There are two toilets with showers and toilets; there is a restaurant with dining tables and chairs; There is a fan kitchenette with a microwave, an electric kettle, tableware, and a small refrigerator; although facing the street, the windows are double-layered, soundproof and anti-theft. It was dark on the road and there were obviously local professional women who were off work who were alone and hurried on the road, so the security was good. Fifth, the landlord is very enthusiastic! I contacted by email in advance, met a lot of instructions, took the initiative to draw out the specific places for nearby dining, took us into the house to introduce the situation (very good English listening materials, haha), breakfast has been piled up in the kitchen (bread, fruit, milk, eggs, juice, jam, Honey...all cold food), let us take it by ourselves. By the way, the landlord actually went into the house every day to clean up the garbage and help dump it, change the clean towels and shower gel. I was really shocked! The apartment landlord is not a 24-hour front desk of the hotel, so you have to communicate in advance if you have something to do. If you have to be critical, it is still some distance from the attractions Acropolis, Constitution Square and the airport, and you can take a taxi back and forth.

This small and peaceful retreat not too far from Athens city centre provided exceptional service and comfort. The room was big, with climate control, various beddings, fridge and cooktop and coffee maker. The bathroom had everything we needed with rainfall shower. And breakfast was very good with a variety of offerings from sweet to salty. In addition, the pre-arrival communication from the manager was timely and helpful, from arranging airport meet (even after midnight!) and taxis to the city and cruise port. Nothing was too much trouble and all requests were met with friendly and quick help. Definitely recommend and if we are back in Athens, we will definitely stay here again.

Great location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.
