3s Hotel Atsugi

Warm and welcoming service, clean and tidy.

It's just a short walk from the station. The area inside the station has many restaurants and a nice atmosphere. The hotel had complimentary coffee and a large public bath, and the building was spacious, so I was very satisfied.

Sure, you could hear the hallway and train noises clearly, but it was cheap and close to the station, so it was totally fine.

I didn't know how to adjust the temperature in the room, so it was dry and hot. I had to open the window a little, have towels changed every time, and lay them on my bed while I slept, or I'd wake up drenched in sweat... The food was a buffet, but it was warm and delicious. I especially enjoyed the cream soup with lots of vegetables. Also, the broth in the ochazuke (rice with tea) I had for dinner was delicious. The baths are generally on the low side, but there are three (cold, lukewarm, and hot). It seems like it would be great after a long sauna bath.

Good hotel for the price. There's an onsen. I liked everything!

I arrived late at night and hadn't eaten dinner yet, but I was glad they had ochazuke (rice with tea) available at night (even though it was just barely within the time limit). The room was a ladies' room and had amenities like MegRhythm eye masks and foot care sheet masks. The security at the entrance was good, requiring a card key to open and having a double lock. There was also a power outlet by the bed (which included a USB port), which was nice. The bathroom was small but clean, and there was a relaxation room with free ice cream, which was a nice bonus.

Although it has been renovated, the hotel is old and has very poor soundproofing, and depending on the room, the noise from trains and the hallways is loud enough to wake you up frequently. The pillow is also small and very uncomfortable to sleep on. However, it's close to the station, the sauna on the first floor is very comfortable, and the accommodation fee is reasonable, so it's more than worth it.
