Hotels near La Dolce Vita Agroparc in Avignon

I stayed at the Avignon Grand Hotel with my partner from 12 to 16 September 22 there were however a number of short comings. The first of these was that the room we had been provided with was infested with mosquitoes - we had discovered this in the middle of the night after hearing the typical mosquito sounds and in the morning we had noticed we had numerous mosquito bites on our bodies. I had complained to the hotel front desk, the staff however appeared dismissive, my fundamental point to them was that the room should have been properly disinfected of the insects prior to making it available to customers. Secondly, breakfast in the hotel was of the bare minimum, in terms of hot cooked food , only bacon and scrambled eggs were available, the latter was of poor quality and almost resembled a paste as the eggs were cooked in far too much cream and milk.Cereal, bread, croissants, yogurt and some fruit were also available. No hot water was available in the hotel in the morning of the 16 September 22. Lastly, all the TV channels were in French, not even one channel was available in English. We had booked this hotel on the understanding it was of 4 stars, given however the shortcomings above together with the standard and quality that were below customer expectations it is difficult to see how the 4 star rating and price being charged was justified.

Very nice hotel for very good value. (Great value for money) not too far from the railway station TGV high speed services from here across central France. The highway is very close by and offers direct cases to a major auto route in France. Hotel staff were beet friendly and accommodating when advising us on solutions for our travel requirements this short trip. Hotel room was clean and and well equipped. Local area offers many eateries that are excellent. Hotel location is tremendous, 8-10 minutes walk to the railway station Avignon TGV. Superb location. Highly recommended.

Good morning to you who read these lines. With regard to this establishment, I would say that with regard to its host and friendly part, it is a good one. Indeed, the staff, whether at the telephone or at the reception, is pleasant and warm. In the first place, the room was very well prepared and the room was very well prepared. The shower flexes are not quite well filled with water, but in its animation part we have not been disappointed! In the beginning of the evening, we are participating in the re-distribution of a tele-hack with the neighbours of the next room. Finally, you must tell you that I'm wrong, and you'd have right. The hotel is a very nice hotel, and it is a very nice hotel. How many events this evening, I suppose, remain of a very exceptional nature.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on the way down to the south of France. It's too bad that it was only for 1 night :-). Very new , nice and well maintained hotel. We were greeted to a nice room upgrade on our arrival. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good and my eldest son had room service which was equally good. It was too cold to enjoy the swimming pool. They have a nice indoor garage. It was a really nice stay and it will be for sure on my list for a future stay in the area.

Everything is very good at the hotel, the decoration and sanitary conditions are not bad, but there are big problems at the front desk of the hotel. Not all front desk staff, but a thin middle-aged man on duty between 10pm and 11pm at the front desk was very rude. When he returned to the hotel at about 10pm on January 7, 2022, he found the door closed and rang the bell, but there was no one at the front desk. So I pressed the bell a few times, and after a while the tall, middle-aged man on duty came to the door and yelled at me as a customer, then argued with me and accused me of ringing the bell as a customer almost woke the hotel (After telling another front desk staffer the next day, the staff said the ringing was displayed on the phone with the front desk and staff, and strangely, the staff member didn't hear me through the phone while ringing last night Wait a minute, so I rang the bell a few more times). I was uncomfortable expressing the staff's attitude and the yelling seemed to be treating a madman, who replied, ”Yes, it's treating a madman.” In summary, it is not so simple to ring the bell. The professional accomplishment of the staff, and the waiting for people to receive things, obviously do not meet the needs of the hotel staff, and the face of different guests obviously feel racial discrimination, have complained, Waiting for a response from the hotel. Think twice about booking this hotel, and meeting the thin high school man can be extremely uncomfortable.

We spent the morning to get the codes of the door for late arrival (festival) and deposit our bags that were waiting for us in the room tonight. This is a beautiful new hotel in a super convenient location in Avignon. Taxis can drop you off at the door (many streets in Avignon are pedestrian-only). Access to the rooms is by elevator. We had lots of luggage so this was a big plus for us. The reception staff are very helpful and welcoming (and fluent in English). Their desk is in the hotel bar which is open 24 hours and offers a variety of good local wines. Room service is available and the food we tried, especially the ratatouille, was good. You are just across the street from the Tourist Center. Everything in the old City including the Palace of the Popes is within walking distance. Lots of interesting shops and good restaurants. The hotel decor is modern and beautiful and our bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning is best adjusted by turning it off if the room feels too cold. We stayed 4 nights and were very happy at this charming hotel.

We were really looking forward to having afternoon tea here to celebrate our twins 9th birthday. Positives. I loved my tea melange mirande. Very cosy with the fire place. Things I can look beyond. Furniture (chairs etc) all very dated and worn; it could be considered cozy and authentic. Things I can not overlook. Customer service was non existent! No welcome. No menus offered. No customers there yet all the tables in the lounge had dirty glasses etc on the tables. I had to ask the reception desk for the hotel if anyone was working in the tea room. After complaining and getting service we were served. No explanation of the cakes we were eating or the drinks. Really really disappointing. I live in Avignon so it is not a cultural difference just really bad staff. Sorry La Mirande but you let me down and my twins 9th birthday.
