Morpho Banashree Resort, Badami

It was a very comfortable and pleasant stay in Badami,. this we think is the best hotel to stay in Badami.Excellent value for money

The resort is little far from Badami, like 6 km. But it is very comfortable and serene environment. The rooms and bathroom are clean and spacious.There is a big specious veran*** for every room where you can have your tea and relax.It is a new resort but everything is well thought of and cleanly maintained. The staff is courteous and everyone has smile on face. The food is excellent. This was the best hotel in our whole Hampi -Badami tour. Very peaceful environment, neatly maintained garden with fragrant flowers. They also have a swimming pool.Good WiFi. Will surely visit again.

I recently stayed at Morpho Banashree Resort in Badami, Karnataka. Despite being a new establishment, the staff seemed undertrained, lacking the expected 4-star service. The kitchen's limited menu, citing low hotel occupancy, was disappointing over the three nights. While the spacious and clean cottages were a highlight, persistent foul odors in the toilets, even after complaints, were a drawback. The staff, though helpful, appeared clueless about service. On a positive note, the pool was clean. Given the small town setting, it might be the best available, but the overall experience didn't justify the price.

Not a 4star hotel: basic room and no hot water. Wifi was not working in any part of the hotel. In the nature but not a quiet place, we were wake up at 5am by a loud music coming from the village in front.Swimming pool looks nice and the food and service at the restaurant was good.

We spent one night here during a beautiful road trip between Bengalore and Goa. This was the only bad experience of our tour. The garden of the hotel is indeed nice. Few rooms had clothes hanged outside. The room was dirty and in very poor conditions. The shower was not functioning properly, and we were offered a plastic bassine to wash ourselves. Toilets were not cleaned at all. Restaurant looks like a canteen. Alcohol is not available. Common living room consist in a very large hall with few chairs. Access to Internet is not stable.

We had a lovely calm stay at Morpho banashree on 31st night .the cottages are beautiful, spacious room, bigger comfortable beds.the food was good and served fresh so it took a little time . Also would like to add tht I had left my shawl and when asked it they hv it they looked for it and it was there.the best part was they instantly arranged for shipping it to Bangalore address.thank u shekhar Betageri ,general ***ager for responding so quick. Morpho Banasree resort in Badami fail to offer a satisfactory experience during her. Stay claiming to be a four star resort. They cannot maintain basic standards of hygiene and cleanliness. As soon as you arrived at the resort, we were greeted with a huge stink coming from the room and the bathroom. The vanity mirror was missing too. I am surprised to see that despite the good reviews, they did not offer us a good experience in the stay. They did not even offer us a refund, claiming that we had to check in before, but that day we were the first ones to check in. They also failed to do a simple job such as moving our luggage into the room which is truly disappointing and disheartening from the consumers aspect. This is definitely a ripoff for Rs.20,000 and advise nobody else to stay in this resort.

This place can be better. It’s quiet, out of town, peaceful and new. Great place to unwind with plenty of in and outdoor activities including a great pool and grassy areas. It’s self sufficient. The food there is very good considering where the resort is. BUT, The staff are eager to serve but they don’t know very much about service. I’m mentioning the following to help ***agement understand what’s going wrong. We checked into room 105. It’s under the restaurant so there’s a lot of noise coming in from above while it’s open. The place was nearly empty so why put us there. The walls are thin so why cram people into adjoining rooms where we can hear each other? Spread us out. Our floor wasn’t swept, only 1 towel and coffee cup but 2 glasses and no one told us we had to turn on the water heater to get hot water - should be part of setting up the room. Don’t throw dirty water from the restaurant over the balcony - you might splash other guests as you did to me. Fix the sewage smells from the deck of our room. If your staff say we can have an early breakfast make sure someone tells the restaurant staff. They did help us but there was little choice. There were a couple of other things but you should get the picture by now. ***agement needs to guide the staff about how to provide proper service and how to communicate to each other and guests otherwise the poor ratings will continue. Readers, don’t give up on this place- it could be so much better

It's an wonderful resort to stay at Badami. It's newly built and in excellent condition. Rooms are spacious and neat and clean. We stayed in cottage which has a bedroom a huge toilet with bathtub and a balcony with sitting arrangement. Staffs are courteous. The cons are- It's location is pretty outside the city, inside a village which is far from the main tourist attractions. If staying at a wonderful place is your preference,like us, ho for it. But if you want to stay close to caves, it will not be ideal at all. Another problem is food. It's okish at the resort and there is no other option near by. We used to take our lunch outside. You may go to Paradise restaurant for lunch . But for dinner you have to take it at resort. I will recommend it for a peaceful vacation at Badami.
