The only issue I had was my card access key did not work each night. I stayed for 4 nights and needed to get a new access card each night

I like La Quinta, the waffle and hard boiled egg breakfast so tryna and the rooms are clean enougheven though the pool is never open (and this trip was winter, so far enough this time), but the neighborhood has gone pretty far downhill.

The hotel is right on the freeway, which I realize that I assumed the Wyndham wouldn’t have more than a single paint window to keep noise out. I was really surprised and disappointed by the hair I found in his drain in and between the sheets. I was so tired and it had been so late. I would’ve asked for another room as it was I slept on top of the sheets.
But what really took it over the top is i I went into the bathroom late at night and shut the door so the light wouldn’t bother the other person in the room, and on the wall behind the door was poop a big smear of poop.
I must say, though the staff is very friendly the times I did interact with them

One night stay with family. Staff helpful. Hotel is outdated, small shower/bathroom combo. Toiletries were dirty, had to ask for towels. Phone did not work.

This was last leg of xc trip. Hotel was run down. The parking lot was unkept with prominent sign about not being responsible for anything left in the car. But no carts to take things to room. Guests in other non-smoking room were congregating outside room and partying late into the night. Finally had to have security come and deal with it at 2:30. Tried for a hot shower to start my last day and water was only lukewarm

This property needed a remodel 20 years ago. It is dated, dingy, and needs repairs everywhere. So disappointed by the La Quinta brand.
