The service staff is very considerate, and the repair of the toilet will be handled immediately! The room is decorated very beautifully, and they will send a message in advance to ask when we will arrive (help put a hot bath)

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Mayaloka. Gana and the other staff who work there were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with everything we needed! Bringing our luggage in and out, organising fresh towels and a floating breakfast for us in our pool, etc. The air conditioning in the room was very good and the beds were so comfortable, we slept really well there. The location is also great and walking distance to lots of good bars, cafes, restaurants and spas. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Seminyak.

This was a very different hotel to any that we have stayed in before. To live the Balinese lifestyle for a few days gave you a sense of culture and it was perfect down to the simply amazing pool and speaker. The staff were friendly, breakfast was amazing with every detail taken care of. My only mark down was at my own fault for booking this in the hot season where the humidity was to much for me, but not for my fellow traveler's. If you are after something a little different from the usual boring basic hotel room, then its definitely worth checking this out. I would go back again in a heart beat.

We are currently staying at the Mayaloka villas . Our villa is so beautiful. We have a one bedroom with pool villa and it is so nice . Great for late night chilling by the pool. Every night they put down mosquito coils even though so far have not been a problem for us. Everyday they also clean the room so at the end of our tours it is relaxing. Stay is so friendly we want to take them home with us. Breakfast normally starts at 7am and once we told them that our day tour started at 7 they offered to bring all the breakfast we want to our room an hour earlier to make sure we ate. We truly feel like kings and queens as they did this for 3 days. The villas is also walking distance to a lot of clubs and restaurants.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom villa. At first I could not believe we were in our villa, it is so large and modern I thought we were in a hotel lobby! Everything was wonderful, the house kept clean and in order by staff, the pool magnificent and lit up at night, the lounge and kitchen so spacious so we had lots of family time there, the aircon in the bedrooms was working perfectly. The staff were able to drive us to the larger shopping area, organise taxis to outings, bring breakfast to the table every morning. Nothing was too difficult for the staff and they were kind and thoughtful and always smiling and polite . This was great for 9 of us . We had 5 teens and 4 adults and was the most memorable place in quiet side streets of Seminyak, 5 min walk from beach.

We stayed 4 nights. Its a 4 bed villa tucked away in a quiet cul de sac 150 metres from the original mayaloka villas. The villa itself is well appointed. Everything worked. The service including breakfast was very good. Some parts like the bathroom fittings are old and should be replaced.

Our family stayed in a two bedroom pool villa, and everything was wonderful. Beautiful villas with outside bathrooms, well appointed and comfortable beds. The pool was lovely, cleaned everyday. The gardens are much and well tended too. The staff came in regularly to light mozzie coils, so no big issues. It’s down a quieter road off the main drag, maybe 5/10 walk but definitely worth the walk to be nestled away from the hustle and bustle. We all loved the breakfasts that were served in our rooms at our elected time. The staff are all friendly and attentive too, anything you need they deliver to your room. We would definitely go back without hesitation. Loved it.

The garden in which the few villas are placed is very nice and clean. The staff is very nice. The area around the hotel is nothing special, you will need a car or scooter to go anywhere. The bathroom is outside the bedroom and in the garden- there are no doors or windows in the bathroom, it is completely open (also the toilet). Be aware that there is a bar/restaurant with loud music close, you might feel the beats from the music in your bedroom. The beds are not very comfortable as well. For the pretty high price in Indonesia I don’t recommend this place.

A perfect oasis away from busy streets . Comfortable bed and air conditioned room . External lounge space is great once you get your head around it , as is the bathroom ! Pool was wonderful - we spent a lot of time in it . This is a place to escape the bustle but close enough to walk easily to cool restaurants , ice cream , cafes and spas . Cheap Grab ( Uber style ) cars available for everything else . Not suitable for most people with accessibility issues ( cobbled pathway to most villas and no easy way out of pool - ladder etc ) . Breakfast was more than adequate and beautifully presented at a time to suit you . Discreet room servicing and twice daily mosquito repellent visits ( although we never saw a mosquito ) and pool skimming ( frangipani flowers !) . Very pleasant and accomodating staff . Nothing was a trouble for them . We loved it . There is a building site next door but looks abandoned ( not uncommon in Bali ). Doesn’t affect your stay .

Villa was amazing, staff were very kind and helpful. Pool was great, and was cleaned daily. Location is very convenient. Recommend renting a bike for traveling around. Only issues were mosquitoes. But the staff provided coils and repellents regularly

Mayaloka Villas is a great place to stay. The warm welcome, the nice walk to your room, the villa itself. It’s a really nice and spacious place to stay. The highlight is the staff. They are so friendly and full of positive energy. It’s like coming home.

The villas are very nice. The private pool is very big and nice. The terrace is also a nice place to stay in the evening. The staff is very careful and they are doing a great job to keep everything clean. The only think that is horrible and I think they should change as soon as possible, is the breakfast. You have the same list everyday to choose from and the option are more then limited!!! The breakfast is awful. Everything else is wonderful.

How were staff : All the staff were absolutely amazing from main reception to the guys who lit evening coils and sprayed villa to try and eliminate mosquitos. No request was ever a problem, the staff were definitely amongst the nicest most professional that we have come across, a real credit to this complex. How clean was it: Overall the villa was clean, could it have been better, yes! However, given the age of the property and furniture it was to a good standard. Pool area was cleaned each day and the surrounding area brushed to clear the fallen leaves from the surrounding shrubs. How were the facilities: As mentioned previously there is no kitchen but you do know this prior to your stay, would it benefit from this, of course it would. There is however a small fridge in the living area which is good for water, juice & beer. The living area has a large screen TV with Netflix etc, a comfortable sofa and armchair along with a dining table. All these facilities are outside which is the norm in Bali, it does take a while to get used to this but after a few days it becomes the norm. Each evening around 6pm the staff come into the villa and light coils and spray the entire villa for bugs etc due to the time of year and weather conditions during our stay [very humid] we were very glad of this and extra coils and spray can be requested Previous comments were regarding the internet speed was that is was slow, we however didn't find this and had no issues Outside bathroom this had a bath and shower along with WC, this was a novelty and was quite liberating!! Clean towels / mats daily, these could perhaps do with updating as they were not at their best! Hairdryer located within bathroom was very small and not great Pool area consisted of a couple of sunbeds and a fairly good sized pool compared to other villas we had looked at in the area, pool towels are supplied daily, these in our opinion could do with replacing but we understand the reasons this may not have happened. How did you sleep: Bedroom was fully enclosed with locks on both doors, it had a large king size bed which was changed at least once during our stay, there was also a mosquito net around the four poster bed and great A/Cn there was also a great Bluetooth speaker too. Only downside was that the villa didn't have sufficient wardrobe / shelving for clothes but we learned a good lesson in that we had taken too much stuff!! How was breakfast: We only had breakfast once during our stay, this was fabulous and delivered at the time we requested, there is not a lot of choice on the breakfast menu but enough to give you a taste of everything, during a conversation with a staff member they indicated that the full kitchen service would be returning soon as this had been closed since the pandemic Would we stay again: Most definitely, great location close to local restaurants and bars, staff were absolutely fantastic, shuttle service daily around Seminyak until 6pm, secure and

The villa’s are lovely, we had villa #10, the furthest away and quite a trek to walk to, especially on pebbles, the staff were friendly, breakfast was fine, if you are staying more then a few days it would have been nice for a few changes in the menu choice, there is a wonderful warung across the road, no room service at the villa, easy to order taxi’s to get around.
