GGuest UserA classic old-school modern hotel with ryokan-type service. The room is huge and has excellent views of the river. On a good day, it should be possible to see Mount Fuji as well. There is also big onsen area with an outdoor bath area. Dinner is served on the ground floor restaurant and it was a delicious multicourse meal which includes really good wagyu steak with wasabi shoyuzuke. Dessert also includes the region's famed grapes. Breakfast was served buffet style with selection of Japanese and western items. I drove to the hotel with a rental car. It is not too far from a station on a local line but I recommend driving around to explore instead. The patrons to the hotel also seemed more local.

CChristaAlthough this hot spring hotel has some history, it is well maintained. From the room or the viewing platform on the top floor, you can see a mountain view... beautiful! The room is well equipped and clean. What I like is that this price (HK$1000) is absolutely impeccable. Although the dinner is not luxurious, the tableware used is very kaiseki. After the comprehensive switch, I went to Japan three times. The more than 3,000 hot spring hotels I stayed in were no longer in the previous format. The semi-self-service and no waiters have seen three rooms and were disappointed. The breakfast arrangement has Japanese + semi-self-service is very good. Overall it is first class!

The disadvantage is that it is a certain distance away from Shihe Hot Spring Station. Of course, most hot spring hotels have to walk for a while. It is very good as a place to take a vacation, and it is a little more convenient if you can speak Japanese!
