Hotel la Mandorla

We started our Italy trip in Ischia at Hotel La Mandorla and what a way to start! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the room, though a little small, was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous sea view. They have 2 hot pools that we frequently used, it's only a short walk to the beach from the hotel. Sea glass and mosaic tiles are everywhere! The hotel has a bar that serves drinks, coffee and ice cream with a few snacks any time, breakfast was really good with inside and outside seating. A perfect place to relax, explore the island, and feel a part of old Italy. Recommend renting a captain for the day and getting the boat tour around the island. Highly recommend this hotel!

Warm welcome and great location. Antonio& Giovanni are very helpful :) Close to the bus stop. Our room had a lovely view from our balcony, the bed was very comfortable. Very clean and airy too.Big bonus was the fridge and the fan on the ceiling .Breakfast had good choices and was plentiful.Would recommend and will be back ,thank you

Firstly the staff were very helpful and friendly, I don't fault them at all. The area is also really nice and parking is super convenient. Sadly the property itself is a bit of a let down, the rooms smelt musty upon entering, the bed was extremely uncomfortable as were the pillows, infact I ended up with a bad back and neck. The sheets were also very scratchy. And the cleaner left the door unlocked!! We were there only two nights and so I did not complain however I hope for future customers they can make some changes. Also they charged €8 for a bottle of water!!

Hotel La Mandorla is 2 minutes from Maronti Beach and 2 minutes from the bus stop to Ischia Porto. The sea view and a balcony with a table and chairs were a great surprise in a double room for single use. And there was also a great room feature - a ceiling fan you can turn on/off to make a room a bit cooler and with more air. I was not using A/C at all. The hotel's surroundings is quiet; you might only hear waves at night. The bathroom has a window which provides the room with more natural light and air, and I also loved high water pressure in the shower! La Mandorla offers a combined continental and American breakfast (eggs, fruits and fresh juices included). I loved their long espresso in a big cup. The service at breakfast is quick, polite and friendly. And the whole staff at the hotel makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. To name a few - Antonio, Giovanni, Marco, Salvatore were always there to respond to all my requests. I cannot thank them enough for helping me when I got sick, and particularly in a situation when I lost my mobile phone in a taxi which was recovered in a couple of hours. They get the right balance between professional service and friendliness so you will get the best of both. If I can, I would give 6-star rating for my stay in La Mandorla.

It was our second stay in this hotel and everything was It was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach and the bus stop. Good connection with Ischia Porto (line 5). Comfortable beds. The staff is very nice and friendly.

Ischia (Maronti) I have always been staying at La Mandorla. La Mandorla is a stunning hidden Hotel, 1 min from the beach, amazing rates, relaxing, clean, friendly, tasty breakfast, and has a spa too ❤️

Such a pleasure to return to La Mandorla after missing a few years. Just as good as ever. Marco, Gianni and Antonio were as friendly and as helpful as ever. We enjoyed early evening cocktails on the terrace every evening and then they advised us on excellent restaurants nearby. Looking forward to next year already.

This is a very nice hotel near one of the most beautiful beach of the Island, the Maronti beach. The hotel can be reached via taxi but also via bus (Maronti is last stop). The staff is absolutely amazing and give you everything you need or wish. The room was clean and comfortable to sleep in it. The breakfast is simple, continental...not the greatest choices for people who like an international breakfast, however the "cornetti ischitani" are available every day and for me that was brilliant. The hotel offers beach chairs and umbrella for free and the beach is about 1 min walk from the hotel, but please keep in mind that the guy who manages them (Gaetano) is very rude and doesn't allow people to use umbrella and chairs before 8.30...so just a bit of a pain for early risers. However the hotel has also an amazing pool terrace that can be used. I'd suggest this hotel to everyone.

Room was nice. You have to pay extra for air con and sun beds on beach. Friendly check in they let us check in early and stored bags.
