Hostal Aslyp 114

This is a difficult review to write, we had a couple of nights here which was fine, we were due to return to the UK a week later so I booked one more night to make the journey home easier. There are good things, it is warm, reasonably comfortable, breakfast was fine and the lady was helpful. The morning we left my phone went off and I was indisposed and couldn't get to it immediately. I stress I would not consider it was excessively loud or likely to disturb anyone ( I am not in the habit of disturbing people). I got a bang on the door and frankly the man who was on the night desk was rude and addressed me in a manner that I did not expect as a paying customer. Had I not already paid I absolutely would not have paid to be spoken to in this manner. I can only surmise that the walls are ABSOLUTELY PAPER THIN and that being the case it would probably be advisable to inform your guests of the fact beforehand. In truth it spoilt the end of the holiday. I wrote to them afterwards expressing my unhappiness but received no reply or acknowledgement. Disappointing.

The staff is so friendly and made everything really easy. There is a food market right on the corner and access to public transportation nearby. Great stay,

Budget accomodation delivered in a very efficient and customer centric manner. Very helpful staff, stored our luggage on early arrival, gave us maps and helped us understand the Metro, arranged picnic breakfast on last day for early departure and arranged taxi. Recommended!
