Hotel 800 m from Place de Catalunya, excellent bedding, king size bed, cleaning done every day, those are the positive points... This is a hotel in a somewhat gloomy area... Let's move on from the mirrors on the wall, but the absence of a bathroom door is a real shame, no brush in the toilets, sliding door for the toilet poor soundproofing. ., shutter does not open, overlooking a gloomy interior courtyard

The stay was quiet and the trea**ent was charming. The only bad thing is the windows that I don't know. They can open completely and the druggies on the street who open the window are getting punctured.

It is very friendly for those who go to Barcelona for the first time. Take the airport bus from the airport to the universitad station and get off in a few minutes of navigation! The front desk is very friendly and handsome! The hotel is very clean and has a great a**osphere! super cost-effective

Good hotel, older rooms than in pictures. A bit noisy area and dirty street. The staff is lovely everyday the room was cleaned.

I (42-F) stayed here alone while traveling for a week. Staff spoke many languages and was friendly - offered me my room nearly right off the plane - I paid the hourly but the bath alone was worth it. Room came with large bath tub that I did not expect. Housekeeping was friendly and accommodating. A small team runs the whole place and appears to do a good job with keeping up with guest needs. Area outside is noisy but since it's seen as "sketchy" there's less traffic than other places, and it calms down at night. The area outside is narrow and dirty and the hotel can be hard to find at first. Your cab may not want to drive you all the way there - but I never felt unsafe around the hotel. I lost like 6 keys and they never gave me crap for that. I got the room in the picture with the two pictures above the headboard and that mattress was lumpy and overused. I only heard sex once. The room was too small for 2 people to stay as long as I did but by myself, it was perfect. I would recommend this place for any travel-savvy singles or couples looking for a plain, cheap, private, safe place to hole up in Barcelona.

It was convenient for sightseeing as it was close to the station. A love hotel similar to Japanese business hotels. It was quiet and comfortable.

This hotel was on a quiet side street, very basic and clean. It was only $111.00 per night. Could walk to restaurants. Has an elevator. Staff very polite and helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise. Cruise port about 15 mins away in a cab.

This place was a little bit challenging to find, but the staff were very helpful and the condition of the property was very good. A good value for the price we paid.

The hotel was at a good location proximity wise but the environment was a bit dirty. We enjoyed our stay there although no fridge in the room and just basic tooth brush. The bathing gel was empty and we had to ask for a fill after 2 days. The room was great for the price and cleaned daily. They let us check in earlier which was great. Overall i do not regret booking the hotel

We had neighbours that was preparing themselves at 23:00 to get out and coming back drunk at 6:00 in the morning, talking loud in the corridor and their room There was an odour of mold in the room that we couldn’t get off Also the hotel was renting rooms by the hours so all kind of people were coming in and out of the hotel

Property was clean friendly and quiet

I wasn't 100% certain what to expect when reading some of the previous reviews. But when we arrived the staff were so polite and welcoming. The "Small Room" was huge, clean and cold from the aircon (exactly what we like). The bath was huge aswell, which was a bonus. Each morning we were greeted by the desk staff. Our room was cleaned every day and new towels were left. On the one day we were in the room during cleaning time, they gave us a call asking if we wanted the room cleaned or new towels or anything, which I thought was really attentive. They even provided cutlery for an uber eats we ordered one night. We felt as though the hotel was safe and secure and we were very happy with our stay. On our last day, they held our bags for us for a few hours after we had to check out without any issues. I would stay in this hotel a million times again. Thank you H La Paloma for welcoming us. Just a reminder that it's about a 30 minute walk from most things but thats not a hotel issue - public transport and taxis work well in Barcelona!
