Yes, the grounds and pool are clean. The beach has the sargassum under control. The condo I stayed in was nice and clean but too many cons outweigh the pros: All day long the constant buzz of saws and pounding of hammers all around as units are being renovated. Groundskeepers buzzing loud **** wackers all day long to cut the grass on the lawn - not a lawnmower but a ****wacker so it takes forever. The restaurants and little grocery store are fairly expensive and the service is pretty rude overall. Never a thank you or how was everything. Too much to ask? The hawkers outside the front gate and on the beach are annoying and trying to get whatever they can from you. Beware.

False and misleading information.BEWARE!! old outdated apartment, rusty faucet, sticky everything. Extremely overpriced. Rude staff. Would not recommend this residence to anyone. There are many better options in walking distance.

Playa Turquesa is a beautiful apartment complex. This is our third year here and every time we stay a month. The complex has now new management and it shows. A large amount of palapa's have been placed on the beach for those seeking shade, as well as more loungers. A tractor with a seaweed raker has been purchased and is cleaning up the seaweed on the beach. A reverse osmosis system has been installed for the water (no more stinky smell) and while we were there they were digging for a well. Several members of the Owners board are very active in the overall improvements as well as enforcing security (preventing people who do not stay at PT to use the beach loungers or enter the property). There are increased amount of people from nearby apartments using the beach just in front of the PT huts and chairs, setting up their parasols and own tents even. On either side of PT are public accesses and the nice clean beach promotes other people to set up camp for the day. The boat/activity centre next to Whala (Now HM hotel) also causes the occasionally noise, with boats anchored there playing very loud music. There is also still the issue of excessive noise (music) from the disco and various restaurants and bars, especially if you are in Building P (but O and A also have noise issues). Building P apartments ending in a 1 or 5 have the bedrooms facing the disco/bars/restaurants and music starts at 8:30 pm and ends at 3 am. Also loud music is playing now during lunch (coming from the cigar place). The owner's board has been trying for a long time to curb the music but to no avail as there are no laws in the Dominican addressing this. Taking the local bus (Traumabapu) to Jumbo is easy. Just stand in front of the billboards of the unfinished building opposite PT ***** mall and wave the bus down. The cost is currently 50 DOP pp. It stops near very close to Jumbo. Leaving from Jumbo there is actually a bus stop, where you can wait for the bus. Ubers are also very good and convenient. Barter with the "Poppi" taxi's and double verify the agreed price with the driver.

They need to get rid of the people that stand across the street. They harass you every day for you to spend money, it’s annoying, horrible look for the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay the ✈️staff was real nice and friendly, very helpful and always clean the entertainment is great and they have shows every night so theres never a boring moment also ✈️the food is great, the hotel also has a beautiful view of the ✈️ocean, chocolate the entertainer was very fun and exciting also the show dedicated to Micheal Jackson was a exciting show to watch

"I’ll start with the hostess and property manager Liz. She is outstanding. Communication before (I had a lot of questions), during (she was quick to assist) and after our trip was always prompt, informative and delivered with a smile…even through text! If you don’t rent a car, which I don’t think is necessary, Liz can arrange transport to/from airport. Our driver, Freddy was polite, on time and a careful driver. He took us to Jumbo, large grocery, on our first day. After that, Ciccolella, located across the street from Playa Turquesa, served our needs well. The condo was as described if not better. The location and view were fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable. Towels, soap, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. The place was clean and well appointed. When not on the beach we were lounging by the pool or on the balcony. The complex is clean, quiet, gated with security. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. Plan to have lunch at the beach bar… great fish tacos and tasty vacation drinks. Our first time to DR was terrific. The condo was perfect four our group. Liz made it easy. Thank you Liz. It was a pleasure meeting you. Highly recommend."

4 adults staying in a beachfront 3 bedroom on 2nd floor, rented through Airbnb for a week. Beautiful view, spacious balcony, private white sand beach with lounge chairs and shade. Beautiful property, security, bar on beach with food, great restaurants and grocery just outside property. Everything was clean and felt very safe. Had a wonderful relaxing time with friends. Pools and beach not busy at all. Much different vibe than crazy busy resorts where it's impossible to find an open chair by pool or beach in Mexican tourist areas. Best vacation ever!!

We went in 2022 and 2023 for a month and a half. Playa Turquesa is renowned for its calm atmosphere. Safe. A reputation he deserves, A place of regulars, of elderly people who have been coming back for years. For your information, the O and P buildings are to be absolutely avoided The noises of the street and the disco coming from the street just next door, night and day, with smells... Impossible to talk in broad daylight and to sleep at night In 2022 we were at O406. The worst place we have experienced in 40 years of international tourism. On the contrary, in building K, apartment 301: superb sea view. Quiet and relaxing place, High ceilings, open space (living room, kitchen), very pleasant living environment. Old but well equipped kitchen. Good quality older appliances. Fairly large rooms and decent furniture. The noise from the surrounding bars and discos stops at 11am. Everything is very clean. The services of the Ocean Club responded very quickly to the serious problems with the toilets and the faulty fridge. But... No screens on the windows (so the condo is full of mosquitoes). On the magnificent and very large patio, chairs from the 70s in hardwood without cushions, uncomfortable. The sofas in the living room are beautiful in appearance but saggy. The two foam mattresses in the bedrooms are hard as concrete. Those who like cement will appreciate. As the price of this condo is very high compared to the average price of the local market, nothing justifies such pettiness on the furniture. Sargassum, unfortunately, arrived massively in the Caribbean. The beaches are no longer and will no longer be very beautiful. It's not Playa Turquesa's fault. Future tourists should think twice before going to these wonderful places.

We stayed one month in apartment P405 at Playa Turquesa in Punta Cana. Thsi was our second time staying at this complex, but previously we stayed a month in apartment A104. The apartment (P405) is very clean and beautifully appointed, with quality and comfortable furniture and very clean. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony and our evening drink on the rooftop teras and amused ourselves over the traffic congestion at the side street. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and large appliances as we both enjoy cooking (never went to the restaurants during our entire 1 month stay). Jumbo is easily reachable by public transport and for small items the local store Ciccolella is great (note the BAM store no longer exists). UberX is servicing the area, however they will not come inside the gate. One thing to keep in mind is the noise at night. The bedrooms face the bars and restaurants and there is loud music every night from 9 pm to 3 am, although the rooms have metal sun shutters, earplugs and white noise machines are strongly recommended if you are a light sleeper. We truly had a wonderful stay, 5 stars all the way and can’t wait to go back.

Just back from a family vacation for a week. Property was lovely! We rented a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo w/patio in building C. It was perfect. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked with standard items (glassware, coffee maker, microwave, fridge and stove). Patio furniture outside as well as a table and chairs if you wanted to eat a meal outside. There are so many restaurants and little shops all within steps of the property. It is gated from the street and the beach and there is someone there 24/7. Plus security walking around the property at all hours as well. Our Airbnb host had someone on site who could help us out as well if we wanted to book tours etc. and she was lovely. Note: You will have to pay for your electricity while you are there. If you keep a/c use to a minimum it's pretty reasonable. Our unit had individual a/c controls in each bedroom. We did not run the main a/c for the kitchen livingroom, only for the bedrooms nightly so we could sleep. Worked out to 101.00 for the week. IF you are in the area check out La Bruja Chupadora BBQ & Pub. You will not be sorry!

Playa turquesa are a nice apartment building very safe area so many stuff to do restaurant store bars and the more important right in from the beach. I reserved this apartment in Airbnb for my family vacation was fun and peaceful, they have two pools and one bars, there are so many options in the area I was a amazing stay at punta cana bavaro.

Playa Turquesa !-102 We (a family of 4) stayed this spectacular 3BR condo in April 2022. Our room was I-102 and it's just steps away from the most beautiful white sand beaches of Bavaro. The complex has a security guard 24/7 and whole property and the beach area were always kept clean by friendly staffs. We found the beach right in front of Playa Turquesa was the most wide, clean, beautiful and comfortable spot to relax and sunbathing. There are plenty of lounges on the beach exclusively for condominium guests. We went out to eat only few times...instead we enjoyed to cook at the well equipped kitchen in our condo everyday, and had so much fun to go to the local small supermarket everyday (there is a larger market with in several mins drive) We loved it and definitely come back!
