Cuthbert House

We stayed at the Cuthbert House this last weekend and must say it was way above and beyond our expectations!! Every aspect of the experience was a Total Ten! The hostess, Carrie, gave us a tour of the historical home, describing its conception and conversion, before showing us to our room, which was extremely well appointed including excellent views of the bay. Happy hour with your choice of wine or beer and a sumptuous buffet of treats and cheeses was delightful! Breakfast the next morning was elegant and delicious. Every individual on the premises treated us with charm and eager desire to please. I can honestly say, this was the finest B&B experience we have ever had. I hope you get to experience it also!!!

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt Southern hospitality. Karen was so friendly and welcoming and she and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were honored guests the entire time we were there. The house itself oozes Southern Charm. Our room decor was authentic and we felt like we were in a period mansion (with modern amenities). We loved sitting on the porch for the afternoon social time. And the breakfast was outstanding with foods you generally don't see at places that provide breakfast. The topper was when Karen found out we were heading to Hunting Island, she gave us the house pass to the state park so we would not have to pay the entrance fee. We have already recommended staying here to friends.

Everything about the Inn was delightful! From the warm reception to the fresh new decor, attention to detail was impressive. Loved the spa-like feel of our room. Cool and relaxing. Also, the location is great with views of the river and a short walk to downtown Beaufort. A perfect experience.

My husband and I went for a little getaway. It was wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff could not more helpful. We especially enjoyed the happy hour. Every night we would join the other guest for drinks and snacks. I would highly recommend The Cuthbert House. Patricia

The ambience, the rooms, the location and the staff all exceeded our expectations. I would have given it more the 5 stars if possible. We travel a lot, in the United States and internationally, and rarely find someplace that ticks all the boxes

Cuthbert Houuse is awesome in every aspect! They just finished a total renovation. they kept all the charm while adding all the modern amenities you expect. Karen checked us in and she gave us a tour of the house plus invited us for evening happy hour! Later we saw Carrie the property manager and she is also very welcoming and service oriented. Our room was spacious and charming. The property has a beautiful view of the water from the two front porches. Breakfast is also excellent! You must stay here if visiting Beaufort!

What a marvelous experience! The Cuthbert Inn is beautiful and full of history. The hosts and staff are friendly, accommodating and professional. The Eastlake suite is marvelous with a large lovely parlor to relax in. The bedroom is welcoming, comfortable and spacious. It has a large bathroom with claw foot tub and separate shower. We are definitely planning on going back!!

Great Bed & Breakfast Great People Great Experience Beautiful View Many activities & food within walking distance. Felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious every morning, afternoon wine/beer/tea with hors d’oeuvres, & a sweet treat to end the day. The bed linens were so comfy that I ordered a set for home!!
