The Qomolangma Hotel

Houhai Area
It's a very good hotel in the busy city. It's hygienic and clean, making you feel comfortable. The decoration style is very unique and Tibetan style. More importantly, it's very quiet. The service staff is very friendly. Although the breakfast is not very cheap, it has a wide range of varieties. The transportation is also very convenient. It's close to Shichahai and Drum Tower. It's very close to Yandai Xiejie. Anyway, I will choose this restaurant next time I come.
Blossom House·HouHai Beijing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect. The hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail were also highly commendable. We left an AirTag at the hotel. The staff went looking for it several times. They finally found it and offered to ship it to me for free. I am so grateful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It truly deserves five stars for its top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic location. I can't wait to visit again!
Xihai Bamboo Courtyard (Houhai Jishuitan Subway Station)

Houhai Area
The store is very elegantly decorated. Although the rooms are not big, they are quite clean. The staff are very polite. There is a leisure area and a drying area on the second floor. You can go to Houhai within walking distance. Food, accommodation and transportation are convenient. You can go to Jishuitan Hospital within a 78-minute walk. It arrived in just a few minutes. I stayed for two nights. The store also gave me snacks as a souvenir when I checked out. Overall, the experience was very good. I recommend this hotel😊
Beijing Jintai Hotel Bamboo Garden Branch

Houhai Area
This large house offers tranquility in the midst of the hustle and bustle, within walking distance to Shichahai, Nanluoguxiang, etc. There are many scenic spots in the surrounding area, which are suitable for in-depth tours. Climbing the Bell and Drum Tower, Soong Ching Ling's Former Residence, and Guo Shoujing Memorial Hall are all good places to nourish the soul. The hotel's entrance guidance and front desk service are warm and thoughtful, free parking is available, and the room refrigerator has free drinks and nuts. The dining environment is beautiful, the dishes and services are very good, the breakfast is fixed, but it seems that it can be renewed for free; the main meal has set meals and a la carte, the quality is sufficient, it is a little expensive but it is worth it.
Deshengmen Hotel(Jishuitan Subway Station Store)
4.7/5736 Reviews
Houhai Area
The room is small in size but the facilities are quite complete. Access control is better for security. The internet speed is pretty good and the bedding is nice and comfortable. The breakfast is very exquisite, tastes pretty good, and has a wide variety of choices. There is nothing the same every day, which is worthy of praise as a fast hotel. Right out the back door is Xihai Park, which is perfect for a stroll after a meal. About 300 meters from the front door is the Jishuitan subway station, and the transportation is very convenient. Especially when going to the Great Wall, take bus 877 and walk for about 5 minutes. Some rooms have windows in the corridor, which are marked in the room description. Those who are sensitive to this can pay attention. In addition, I would like to give a small suggestion to the store owner. You can put a hotel signboard at the back door, which will not only make it easier for customers to find the store, but also provide advertising.
Wang's Shadow Puppy Culture Theme Hotel
4.8/5398 Reviews
Houhai Area
I absolutely loved the Shadow Puppetry aspect of this hotel. They do performances every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8pm. Even though I don't speak Chinese, I really enjoyed the performances and the demonstrations of the history and logistics of the puppets. I also got to paint my own puppets after the show (for an extra fee), which I loved. Really friendly staff and beautiful décor. It would have been nice to have some more natural light in my room and the walk back to the hotel was pretty dark at night and away from the main street, which I would have preferred to avoid as a solo female traveller. However, all of this was made clear when booking the hotel, so they set clear expectations and made it a memorable and comfortable stay. Would recommend!
