The hotel is located in a quirky area with many restaurants and near the beach promenade near the American University. It has 19 floors. Need to take a room with sea view !! - I had one in the 18th. Stock and was excited by the view of Beirut and the sea. The room has a small balcony and otherwise everything you need. It was clean and large enough to feel well. Breakfast is available in the restaurants on the street.

I had amazing stay there, I enjoyed my time a lot, very cozy hotel with friendly staff, very clean, the room sizes are very comfortable, their Asian Restaurant is wow, most importantly the location is very close to almost everywhere and there is exchange shop right opposite to the hotel. I enjoyed a lot and will definitely come again, I would also like to give my thanks to Mr. Malek from reception as he was very helpful with us during our stay and he was very friendly and professional.

African woman & solo traveler here! My stay was an extremely pleasant one. Members of staff were always ready to assist and were all polite. The view from the rooms are amazing. There is also a rooftop pool with a view of the city, I couldn’t use it because I was there during winter, but if I return during summer, I will definitely stay at Staybridge again and use the pool.

I had a comfortable stay for the price It was in front of the school, so it was convenient because there were many shopping and food options. There are many cafes and you can see the sea within a short walk, so the location is very good. It seems good. What was disappointing was that I had to pay for parking even though I stayed.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The service staff is excellent. The food is excellent. One problem: I informed the reception desk my time of departure which was 5 A.M. the next day. and asked to have my bill ready the evening before I leave. The reception kept delaying sbmiting the bill and finally submitted the bill to me when it was time for me to leave at 5 A.M. The bill was filled with undue charges. I did not have the time to dispute the bill . I paid it. I later wrote to the hotel to correct the bill. I never heard from them. I am disappointed.

Room service was great.. Also there is an employee named Houssein at the reception, he is great.. The reception was very helpful. About the breakfast very delicious and cooked well. Air conditioning at the room was awesome. Also the room has no noise from the street or from other rooms, and thats really make me feel relaxed. A very old hotel. The facilities are old and the environment is crowded in the old town. The narrow streets are a bit dirty. There are only three varieties of breakfast to choose from, and it is not enough to ask for more than one cup of coffee per person. The portion of breakfast is relatively small, one international taste is very sweet, one Lebanese tastes strange, and one British tastes bad.

We spent here two nights. You can easily notice that once it had been a great hotel. Now some furniture is a little bit worn out and the glory has faded. Still, I believe it is a nice place to stay as it is situated in lively Hamra district, close to the city centre. The prices are good, I think you cannot really expect a super modern hotel in this location for 30 dollars, just be realistic. We had here breakfast - all tasty, friendly staff members but to be fair there was rather narrow choice of food. Probably it is wiser to go for breakfast somewhere else.
