Magic Natura Resort

Just got back from Magic natura, so this is an honest review. Food This is hit and miss, but you will always find something to eat. Speciality restaurants, we only went once and that was the Italian. The Italian well what can I say,it was like faulty towers the only thing missing was the cast. It did make me laugh,plates cleared before you had finished pudding served before the mains had been eaten and no alcohol served unless you got your own from the restaurant bar unless you were Spanish no problem for them. The food don't bother worst Italian I have ever had. The panacota was angel delight. Lodges Ok but need an update, and I recommend upgrading to UAI. Pool view rooms very good. I have to say the cleaners work so hard and our room was spotlessly clean the sheets changed every day. Waterpark Very good spend most days here the grandchildren loved it. Free food ok for a snack. Zoo Very good, but take plenty of water or pop because it's a big zoo and gets hot it was 38 this week. I would recommend this place for families with kids because they have so much to do you can even go to the sister hotel pirate's we prefer the waterpark though. The only problem we had was we didn't realise it was the Spanish school holidays and they arrived in droves on day three. Suddenly, the English became second class citizens, and to be honest, put me off because they came first. Please come here it's brilliant for families but not in the Spanish school holidays.

A really wonderful family holiday destination. The staff are super friendly and always helpful. Rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. loads of facilities, it feels very relaxed and welcoming. The restaurant has a great selection of foods to suit all, staff are exceptionally good at seamlessly clearing and setting tables. It is VERY hilly, as is the waterpark and zoo, so little legs get tired quickly. If you've got kids older than toddlers but aren't above 120cm then the waterpark is basically just a swimming pool as they're too small for everything. The inclusive tiers are a bit confusing, but if you're all inclusive, not the plus you can still pay daily to get some of the plus perks. Zoo is amazing. Would 100% come again.

On arrival, things looked amazing. Though, we arrived at 10am and were told we couldn’t check in until 5. We bumped into another couple who arrived later than us and were already in their room and when asked again we could check in at 2. Once we got to the room we were greeted with broken doors, cracks, dust, no WiFi (for the whole stay), no working TV’s, mould and a very dirty and run down jacuzzi. To be honest the list goes on. We stayed in room 1210, so avoid this one at all cost. Additionally, the rooms were very cold, the water for the showers didn’t always work, and on one day we had no water at all due to a burst pipe. This resulted in there being no drinking water or showers and when asking staff for bottled water they said to go to the shop. A poor response if you ask me. No apology was given for this issue either. These problems were all reported to reception and photos were shown but absolutely nothing was done. Furthermore the food was cold daily, the pools were freezing, the collection and drop off facility for the buggies were awful and the entertainment was on very late; 9.30 for kids (mini disco) and 10:30/45 for adults. The daytime activities were poorly advertised and often not shown on the app that they refer you to. Rooms were very loud due to the apartments being connected to other rooms. Also, you could hear the late night entertainment and work being carried out in the early morning. The options for vegetarians were very limited. The salad bar was great. However, lots of food was incorrectly labelled and when staff were asked about what contained meat they seemed very unsure. Twice I ate something with meat in and instantly spat it out. Overall, I was very disappointed and would NEVER stay here again. We were here for our son’s first holiday and mine and my partners birthdays and we were very upset. The positives of this trip were the amazing zoo, a lovely man who let us access the zoo from the hotel, and a lovely man who served us drinks in the premier eating room.

Stayed in a 'premium' Tahiti Lodge with hottub on a 'ultra all inclusive' basis....what a dissapointment. The concept is great in theory - a holiday park with a zoo and water park right next door...the kids enjoyed it but for the adults the reality is unfortunatley far from great. There was no one major thing wrong, but just many many individual things that it actually became a bit of a comedy of errors and far too many list. Just as an example the sewage smell due to broken drains right next to our lodge, no wifi in the rooms, mildly warm often unlabelled food, dangerous railings around the hot tub, everything needed a deposite (towels, cups, safe, iron etc), customer service was often replaced with its on the 'app' that isnt accurate or doesnt work, the huge rat on the decking on the final night, tone dead evening entertainment, walls made of not kuch more than paper.......the list goes on and on and on. Didi from Customer Serivce did try to help as much as she could in all fairness, but no one actually visited us in the lodge so i could show them all the issues, i didn't want to spend my holiday getting wound up, logging issues constantly. If someone would like to reach out, i'm more than happy to provide feedback of all of the issues and areas for improvement so they dont get repeated complaints, but not i'm not paying for the luxury of providing feedback for free here so they can improve. To summarise, this is not a 'premium' 4 star resort in its current state, its quite run down and short staffed. Try Pirates Island if you can, much more modern, clean and tidy for what we saw on our day trip there.

Cannot fault this resort, we went as a family of 5, 2 adults, 2 x 16yr olds and a 5yr old. We all had a brilliant time! The zoo is fantastic and we took a different route through each morning to get to the water park as its huge! The land train is a must as the lodges are up hill, but its very regular so no issues, the kids pool on site is great and overlooks the elephants. Food, after reading reviews we found the no issues at all, we all ate at every meal. If your staying as AI plus dont forget to book the extra restaurants located above the dining area. Air con is only in the main room, we just propped the door open during the day and it cooled the full lodge down with no issues! Cleaners every day, with clean towels. Lots of drinks included, premium branded spirits and cocktails included! We will definitely be back cannot fault it at all!

A special thank you to Gianina, the amazing bartender at Magic Natura Resort. She was always kind, friendly, and professional, with a warm smile that made every visit to the bar a pleasure. Her excellent service, positive attitude, and attention to every guest were outstanding. Even when the bar was busy, she remained calm, efficient, and cheerful. Gianina truly made our holiday even more enjoyable. She is a real credit to the resort, and we hope to see her again on our next visit. Thank you, Gianina!
