Paid extra to have 2 douple beds. Had to wait 2 days to get correct room. Front desk service was very disappointing. Had to asked 4 times before we got tv rebooted.

way most of our stay and we had mouse poo on the bed. We tried to get the issues resolved, waiting 6 nights to be told ******* couldn’t do anything because the hotel wouldn’t reply to the and the hotel wouldn’t help us because we booked through *******.

We had a fabulous stay! Joshua was so wonderful. Having someone check on us, provide us with reservations, and be a friendly kind face was wonderful!

Most staff was courteous but mold in rooms smell of sewer on property and no bleach when they clean or wash dishes no straws or plastic cups or plastic wear and beware room service is gross and lazy they bring you old cold food half cooked and have the nerve to call after you place an order how many in room and do you still want it ? If so it’ll be hours … Meanwhile if it’s after hours there no store door dash or vending machines ask

Let me start by saying I love being able to leave the hotel and walk around (my disclaimer). The property is absolutely gorgeous no low scoring there at all; but if you’re looking for something to do outside of the resort this is not the location for you. This property is located on the coral reef which means there is not jet skis, parasailing and beach fun. The water is not as blue as it is in the “hotel zone”. The staff and service are absolutely great and they do make the stay very pleasant but again outside of the daily dining and activities at the property there isn’t much to do. Now if you want to relax only this is the place for you but it reminded me of being in cruise ship sitting on the lifo deck all day. Taxis are $65 one way away from the resort and that’s whether you traveling with 2 people or 10. But, again the resort is super clean, the rooms aren’t exactly like the pics on the website but they are nice. Ocean view is NOT a direct ocean view, it a glance. The complete view is of the pool and party are which is cool at night cause you can sit in your balcony and watch the activities. Overall it’s relaxing resort but don’t be fooled by the no reservations need at the restaurants you indeed need a reservation or you’ll have to wait an hour.

I was hesitant due to bad reviews of this property/ that being said I would go back 100000 times! Our butler Luis made the experience incredible. He made reservations for us in the restaurants, made us pickleball reservations, always made sue our fridge was stocked with water and beer, extra beverages sand snacks. The entertainment was amazing. The buffet was absolutely a dream! Everything you could want at great quality. The beach had some seaweed while we were there but they worked very hard to clean it up everyday. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. It is definitely worth the diamond club upgrade.

Joshua from ******* was super helpful! He made our experience the best possible and we would recommend this location to anyone! He helped us with reservations, finding our way around the resort, and check in. He is a fantastic employee! 10 stars!

If you are looking for a kid friendly resort this is great. But if you are looking for a kid friendly place and enjoy adult beverages this is not it. Drinks are extremely watered down. Only one bar tender at the large swim up bar. Put a downer on the fun.

I enjoyed my time since this was my first experience at an all inclusive resort my expectations weren’t met. I would suggest the resort look into offering transportation

the staff was nice and friendly. the bartenders would not serve you unless you gave them additional cash and the food was horrible. multiple people in our party ended up getting food poisoning and reservations were extremely hard to make for large groups. the meat was not cooked and the food looked and tasted horrible. the only good experience at a restaurant was at the steakhouse. the Mexican restaurant would not even serve us the menu, they required us to get the family style meal with our large group which was NOT what we wanted. there were bugs all over the resort, the water smelled like sewage and the room service was terrible. Our room also had a very moldy, musty smell that did not go away and made our belongings smell. I will never be going back here and do not recommend this place especially for large groups.

The servers were very good Room cleaning person was good. However everyone else doesn't add value to the service. They tell you one thing and do another. Too many supervisors that do nothing but aggravate the customer. I heard so many complaints where rooms were not cleaned for 4 days or have clean towels and the excuse was broken down laundry machines. The beach had a lot of seaweed so the tractor would run in the morning (a little Dangerous) for that amount of seaweed you need an army of people raking and cleaning. Not 1 man on a tractor and 2 on a pitchfork impossible task. That's what we go there for is the beach. Beach Bartenders need a personality no smile no fun nothing the crappiest attitudes. Servers on beach were decent. Beach Towels we ran out of. Its a free for all Take as many towels as you want. Check in for my group of people was terrible. The best person out of all was a young man Miguel De la Cruz he should be the head of all bellboys 3 months working there he knows how to help people with a smile and recognize you. The rest are concerned about what type of rating I will give in *******. The restaurant reservations was not well organized. All of these things I blame on management not the workers. The management team need to take their hands out of their pockets walk around and listen to the complaints. Would I go back to the Royalton absolutely not. Not efficient not consistent. There are good people there they need to be coached and mentored. I don't see it.

The waiting staff consistently disappointed, often misleading us. Despite assurances, entrees never arrived after appetizers, and promised shrimp platters were denied later. Bottled water was scarce, its availability tied to tipping. Dining in groups meant extra expenses for wine bottles. Initially placed far from the action, we moved rooms after a night. March break brought rowdy crowds, disrupting nights. Room service went unanswered. Buffet was varied; Zen Japanese restaurant was good. Service at the steakhouse was slow. Spaghettini meatballs resembled soup. Live bands were enjoyable, but a DJ left abruptly one night. Limited ice cream flavors and coffee shop sandwiches need improvement. Loungers required a 5 am reservation. Some alcohol tasted foul. Pool bartenders ran out of ice. Despite highlights like the buffet and select restaurants, inconsistencies marred the experience.

Beautiful place. Very safe lots of nice evening entertainment. Great swimming pools and beach access. One issue was that people would “save” all the lounges by 7:00am with the resorts towels, often causing the towels to run out early - and then maybe show up at the lounge for only a random hour or so throughout the day. They need to pick them up if no one’s using them every hour or so, like other resorts do. Another issue is that they are pretty far south of the hotel zone and so if you need a cab, it’s very expensive.

My Boyfriend and I came here for our college senior year spring break. We are someone who focuses highly on reviews and I would like to say most of the negative reviews do not capture this resort at all! We went in with low expectations and they were completely blown out of the water! We were NOT Diamond Club and it didn’t matter the staff was equally as amazing and super friendly and are always willing to help! There were activities every night my partner and I learned how to salsa dance, saw a fire show, had dinner on the beach and so much more!! We met an amazing guy from guest services named Joshua who was able to answer any questions we had and was just overall super helpful! We had an amazing time and we will for sure be back!

The dining experience was enjoyable, though there were a few misses on the menu. The rooms could use some improvement as they had a slight sewage odor due to recent issues, which have thankfully been resolved. However, the excellent service compensates for any shortcomings. In summary, it's a decent mid-tier resort, especially suitable for families with children.
