It was a comfy, relatively clean room, with nice cleaning personal and nice breakfast. However, at check-out the concierge personal was not so friendly, that is specially important when traveling with kids.

No facilities in the room to make a hot drink - when we asked for a kettle the staff said they didn't have any! Eventually managed to get one but it was a struggle

Pleasant stay in a clean and friendly authentic German gasthaus with a forest motif. Good shower, good breakfast and a Biergarten. Location nothing special but free parking included. No air conditioning and we slept with open windows. Free wifi.

We have taken the spa arrangement with mediterana. This is ok but not great. If you want to have a vacation with comfort, serenity and the beauty standard of the mediterrana this is not the hotel to go to. But if you just want a room and a bed to stay in for a cheap price than this is a good deal. The foto's of the hotel do not give you an objective look and feel of the experience, go to google street view to have a look around because the area of the hotel is really ugly with an industrial environment and a big very crowdy shopping EDEKA across the street , so this is not a holiday location!!!

5 Star What a beautiful little family run hotel The staff we amazing The room was very clean ( what else would you expect in Germany) The food in the restaurant was well presented and traditional German food featured well on the menu We have been coming back to this hotel for over 5 years and the standards haven’t dropped Thank you for making my visit to this area to visit my Aunt a pleasurable one

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Gronauer Hof. Das Mediterana war unser Highlight, zur besseren Erholung haben wir dann im Gronauer Hof übernachtet. Da es ein Partnerhotel des Mediterana ist haben wir nur kurz morgens eingecheckt. Erhielten unsere Tickets und konnten die kurze Fahrt zum DaySpa in ca. 5 Min. erledigen. Dort gibt es eine extra Kasse für die VIP und Hotelgäste. Wir kommen gern wieder. Ines und Gudny

Sehr schönes, sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Mit einer gut bestückten Minibar und einen neuen toll renovierten Bad. Die Lage ist Zentrum nah zu Refrath und trotzdem direkt am Wald. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze. Alles war einfach nur super.

Wir waren in dem Hotel wirklich zufrieden. Die Lage war prima, und in der Nähe zum Mediterrana, wo wir einen Tag lang waren. Das Zimmer war wirklich sauber, ausreichend eingerichtet und scheinbar noch nicht lange Zeit zuvor das Bad renoviert. Es war alles gut für uns und auch das Frühstück, mit 6 Euro p. P. berechnet, ok!
