Ibis Berlin Messe

The hotel is nice and very good. It is especially suitable for traveling with children. It is also a good choice for business trips because the floors are very high and the scenery is particularly good. It is also very close to the attractions, basically you can reach it on foot. Will continue to stay next time.

Wilmersdorf
Both myself and my partner (both 22) visited Berlin for the first time for 3 days (4 nights). The hotel is easily accessible by train (closest station is Charolttenburg) or by 45 minute taxi (roughly €50-€60), and is located in a quiet side street, but very close to the city centre and main attractions. Hotel is Scandinavian themed, has a lovely peaceful atmosphere and very friendly staff, who went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Although check-in and check-out times are displayed on Booking.com, they desk is manned 24/7 and they are very flexible. The rooms are cosy, perhaps on the smallish side, but very suitable for a couple and a place to rest in between days of exploring the city. The beds are VERY comfortable and soft; we unfortunately didn’t have a double bed, but two singles pushed together. This wasn’t an issue, but it may have been nice to have an option to provide a double duvet rather than two singles if it is a room shared by a couple. Very powerful waterfall shower. The bathroom is very modern, and is separated by sliding frosted glass partitions. This was absolutely fine for us as a couple and what we expected, as it is clearly advertised as so on Booking.com. However this may be an issue if you are sharing a room with someone in which you would like more privacy whilst using the bathroom. We didn’t pay for breakfast included, but given the option to use this service and pay at the end of our stay. Breakfast runs from early to late morning, plenty of options of hot food (bacon, eggs, sausage), pastries and breads, fresh fruit, a selection of cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereal and even a waffle maker! Very reasonable at €12 pp (have included an image). Overall, very happy with the stay, and feel that it is good quality for money paid — the only reason why we didn’t score this hotel at 5 stars is that we felt it could be a good addition to have a small kettle, and complimentary coffee, tea and milk in the room, to in the evenings. Recommendations: The 24 hour train tickets is only €8.80, can be bought from any station, and allows you to travel as often as possible on both the overground and underground. Download the ‘BVG Fahrinfo: Routes and Tickets’ app (yellow and black app icon). It lets you plan journeys on the overground and underground trains, see the most convenient route to get from A to B, how much the ticket will cost, and when and where the trains departs from. Take the train from Charlottenburg to Hackescher Markt- lots of lovely restaurants to eat in (especially ‘Barist’) and a lovely spot by the river to sit on deckchairs in the sun and order some drinks in ‘James-Simon-Park’ (have included an image). Really good Chinese restaurant ‘Lychee’, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Lovely atmosphere and amazing food.
Westlife Apart Hotel Berlin

The hotel is very well located. It is certainly a little out of the city centre but it remains close to everything. It is in a very quiet residential area. The bus M49 goes in front and brings you in 20min close to the zoo and shops. If you don't walk in 5min you are at S9 that goes to the SXF airport through the whole Berlin. You are in the city centre in 20min. You can also go to the Olympic stadium walk in just 10min. Hot home, the staff speak English and are listening to help you as well as explaining the details of your stay. The room is huge: a kitchen corner with everything you need to eat, fridge, microwave, plates, a living corner with sofa, two single beds next to the other, TV and a large bathroom with double bathroom and shower. The room is comfortable with all the necessary towels and shower and vase products. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and is located in the heart of the city centre. The sports room has a good equipment, a little older, especially electronic equipment, but everything is functional. The hotel is very well served by transport. The only defect is the door between the rooms that poses a problem with noise level. The quality / price ratio is excellent. A good address.

The location of the hotel is very good, it was originally a general impression of the hotel, because the limitations of the elevator is very inconvenient. The hotel staff and management are very good, tell the lost computer in time, thank you very much, so be sure to come again next time!

I have spent two weeks in Berlin, and this was the cheapest accommodation I could find. It has been definitely a surprise: a big room, very quiet, good internet connection and a very friendly staff. The breakfast (included in the price) is ok, the restaurant has only a few options for vegetarians (tagliatelle all'arrabbiata and salads), but portions are big and the price is OK. The S-Bahn station is a 15 minutes walk, because in between there is a busy motorway. The round part of the building used to be the race control tower of a motor racing circuit until 1998, and you can still feel the glorious past of it.

The location is quite close to the ZOB in Berlin, and it is better to find. Both health and the environment can be. However, WiFi is not always connected, and the password is changed at the front desk, and it still cannot be connected. The people at the front desk said that their WiFi is only 7 floors and the lobby is not working well, I don't know what happened. I happen to be on the seventh floor and I strongly suspect that they don't want to provide WiFi at all. I also charged an additional city fee of less than 3 Euros. I always thought that the room I paid included all the fees. It is far from the big supermarket, and the nearby shops are expensive.
