Pier Walk Hotel

A doss house with no staff around and only a latch for security on room doors. The shower door only opened half way as it goes hard against the toilet. At first I had to go and find a someone that worked there to ask why I wasn’t in an ensuite, which is what I booked. I found a maintenance guy who said “oh, close the door into your room, it’s behind that, you can’t see it with your room door open”, that is how small the bathroom is (see image, that is the bathroom behind the bed). No lift working, no internet working, no staff, no bar and their photos are breaking advertising standards laws. Patchy, amateurish paint jobs in the rooms and no iron or room to iron anything. Thank God I took my own iron. Had to iron on the floor. Walls are paper thin, my friend in another room was kept up most of the night by the room next door watching TV and talking. I had to use my arm under my one, thin pillow to get comfortable. £39.00 a night would be over priced for this place. On the plus side, the water was hot and the shower had pressure. Place is grubby too. Never again

Highly recommend this hotel. This is the 2nd time we have stayed and is now our go to hotel when we visit Blackpool. It has very friendly, appriachable staff, very welcoming and they cant do enough for you to ensure you have the perfect stay. Room was so nice, very clean and very comfortable ckean bed. Reception area very clean and tidy and the outside area is really appealing, clean and tidy. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will be back next year!

You get exactly what you pay for!!! It's not the best ,far from it ,but if you only need somewhere to sleep then this would be ideal.rooms are definitely not 5* luxury more like 2*. Yeah the fan in the bathroom was noisy and as a cleaner by profession they weren't the cleanest but had provided toilet roll and little bottles of shampoo and conditioner.yeah the paint job wasn't the best but the room was clean .the bed was surprisingly comfortable. No wardrobe just hangers on a wall!!clean towels provided (always bring my own).tea/coffee making facilities in the room.(had to ask for extra milk and teabags and coffee)a bit different filling the kettle from the tap in the bathroom.when I originally booked the website did state that no breakfast available which was fine by me as plenty of cafes available for this . As for the bar(licensed questionable????) never saw a single person in this at all.dining room is definitely nothing like the pictures,dark walls and table cloths and yes power tools in this room just randomly on the floor.i only paid £113 for bank holiday weekend so guess price was fair .wouldn't stay here again!!!

It is nothing like the photos in fact I wouldn't put a dog in there. There is no customer service at all, it says there is a bar, pool table and restaurant but non of these facilities are open to guests. The rooms are awful, described as deluxe but doors don't close, windows won't open and everything is run off an extension lead. You are literally given a key by a man who comes out of a house from down the street and left to it

We stayed here to go to funy girls and the tower. Good location quiet but close enough to walk to places. Room was fine, comfy bed, toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. Room was clean and warm. Owner explained all the facilities and helped us with directions to our restaurant. Would stay here again, did not use the bar as we were out but looked very nice.

When we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait 45 mins to get booked in, there was no one there at the hotel. There is no parking and the beds were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept in. We seemed to be the only people at the hotel, I’d never recommend this hotel to anyone

The previous reviews on here did not match our experience. We were warmly welcomed by the host who took the time not just to explain the facilities onsite but some helpful suggestions during our stay. Our room was the basic budget standard double. Not luxury or boutique but functional and did the trick for the price we paid. We met in the bar in the afternoon, our host gave us his iPad so we could play our songs via his speaker and opened the pool table to give us free games. Such a very kind gesture. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the tower and close to the prom. Thank you for your very kind hospitality and we wish you all the very best for the future.
