Room was simple, but clean. Location right at the heart of Braunschweig, my room even had a view onto the historical cathredral and the inner place with the bronze lion. Price was reasonable. Not full number of stars because of not acceptable treatment be the staff during the check-in. The Covid rules just changed two days earlier and while the place had enough capacities to send me several "invitations" for early check-in by internet, they did not have the decency to point out that the rule have changed in between booking and day of arrival. Caused many problems finding a testing place. Had a very unpleasant phone call, because check-in closes at 9 p.m., which is surprising for an international hotel in the center of the city. this goes along with people clearly visible in one restaurant room busy drinking. I was so unhappy with the staff that I skipped breakfast and decided to eat at one of the nearby cafes. Next time I will definitely look for a different place.

Dejligt sted med god stemning. Mægtig fin service og betjening. Fint værelse med højt til loftet. Stille og roligt trods central og meget gin beliggenhed

Hotel situato in pieno centro, struttura storica ma dotata di tutti i confort. Ambiente elegante con camere pulite e funzionali. Bellissima la scalinata centrale, buona la colazione con varietà di dolce e salato. Parcheggio antistante all hotel molto funzionale

Ich war auf Geschäftsreise im Deutschen Haus, die Empfehlung kam über meinen Chef. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr deutsch, das muß ja nicht schlecht sein - ist es auch nicht. Auf jeden Fall "eingeborenes" Personal und alles gut vorbereitet. Zimmer und Zustand sauber. Das Interieur ist schon etwas älter, aber mich stört das nicht. Auf jeden Fall sehr bequem und in gutem Zustand. Mir ist so etwas lieber als dieser neumodische Chi-chi, der am Ende ungepflegt ist. Nix für Hipster, aber für Leute, die deutsche Qualität schätzen. Das Restaurant habe ich nicht getestet, aber es war gut besucht. Lediglich den Parkplatz für 12 € am Tag finde ich überteuert.

Het hotel is gevestigd in een voormalige Auberge,aan de rand van het centrum. We hadden een ruime kamer, gelegen aan de binnenplaats De kamer was ruim, met een heel comfortabel bed, een flatscreen tv een kast en een fauteuil. Ontbijt: Op de 1e verdieping bevind zich de ontbijtruimte. Deze is strak,maar zou wat meer kleur en sfeer kunnen gebruiken. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is in buffet vorm, dit was goed verzorgd. Tevens beschikt het hotel over een stijlvol Italiaans restaurant.
