The hotel's location is very central, with all the city's attractions within walking distance, right next to the busiest pedestrian street. However, it's a bit far from the station. On the day I arrived, dragging my luggage from the station on a slippery road, it took me a while to find it. There's construction happening next door and across the street, which slightly affects the view. The room isn't large, but it's fine for one person. Breakfast was also decent.

Great hotel with good transport links (I think you have the metro, tram and bus all within 10 min walk) but it is worth mentioning that this is slightly out of the centre so it takes about 30 minutes to get in. For business travellers with offices around I guess that dosent matter but for tourists it might be slightly time consuming although the Ruter zone 1 transport pass does cover this so more on time rather than cost for transport here. Breakfast was splendid and I really enjoyed the spread and quality which I think is even better than other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in Oslo and other parts of EU. Staff in breakfast was great, although reception staff was not the friendliest per se - professional though just not as friendly. I put a DND on my room door twice but both times housekeeping still came to clean my room so I’m not really sure if the signs mean anything. Amenities though was horrendous - nothing except poor quality towels and soap which were a let down. Overall good hotel but definitely more things could be done to achieve the maximum potential.

Anonymous UserGreat hotel, but the fact that you have to book a cleaning feels like a cost cutting measure rather than one to benefit the environment. Breakfast is very expensive despite the reception staff calling it “cheap”.

Anonymous UserDefinitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I can’t believe the fresh juice station and health shots…America needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts.

Guest Usergreat boutique hotel! only unfortunate thing is that the breakfast only opens at 8am on weekends so we missed it due to an early flight, but they made up for it with a breakfast to-go when we checked out!

The hotel is quite close to both the train station and the pier. The room was a bit small but clean and tidy. You can store your luggage in a small room in the corner. Dinner options were limited, but breakfast was decent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Quality Hotel Hasle Linie during our New Year’s trip to Oslo, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and helpful service. Check-in was smooth and fast, which was perfect after a long travel day.
Our rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable — exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay with a group of friends. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and the views from the rooms were lovely. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made everything feel special for the holiday.
The location was fantastic, just a short distance from major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. It made exploring Oslo so convenient, whether we were heading out for dinner or wandering around the city to enjoy the New Year festivities.
One highlight was the breakfast buffet — fresh, varied, and delicious. There was something for everyone, and it gave us great energy to start each day full of adventure.
Overall, Quality Hotel Hasle Linie gave our group a memorable and comfortable stay. We loved celebrating the New Year here, and we would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!

3X9CThe hotel's location is unbeatable! It's just a 4-minute walk from the train station, and light rail, metro, and bus stops are all right nearby. Oslo City shopping center is directly across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The staff were very polite. While the room wasn't large, it was highly functional and very comfortable to stay in. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, but the taste was just average.

Highly recommended. The hotel is part of an old post office, located right behind a bus stop, 100m from a tram stop and 500m from Oslo Central Station. There are restaurants just downstairs or nearby. The room is large enough and well-equipped, with a washing machine, a big drying rack, a microwave and all utensils. There is a public room for (self-service, super convenient, pretty large space) luggage storage facilities and all the necessites (tea packs, towels, linens, and ear plugs etc., though it is quiet at night) Everything is done on app, including check-in/out and opening the doors.
However, the door-opening function in the app doesn't work sometimes so you have to use code instead (there's no reception). Also, you have to go through some stairs at entrance and a winding passage to reach your room. The room is a little bit dark at night (even with all the lights on) for reading and writing. The TV is located in a weird position.

Anonymous UserThe hotel was nice, sustainable culture supportive, staff are extremely welcoming and very helpful, close to the city center. The room felt extra small for me that I could not believe it, however, warm and good enough for a 1 night crash, did not need to switch on the heater, temp was just right! One thing I really missed is the the English language option in TV, everything else was as expected.
