Last weekend we had the pleasure of staying at Shambhala for 2 nights. While we were visiting the Garden Festival in neighbouring town Nannup, we chose Bridgetown for our accommodation so that we could explore the wider area. Shambhala is an interesting layout - accommodation area on the left of the building, entrance and large common lounge /dining are in the middle and the private area for the owners on the right. Being Autumn it was still a little cold, especially at night. The common lounge always had a very welcoming fire burning. Very cozy! Our room had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Do take note that there are no TVs in the bedroom, only the living room. This was fine for us. Breakfast was a simple continental arrangement. One highlight was honey from the owner's own beehive! I believe they do offer a cooked breakfast at an extra cost, however we were content with the simpler breakfast. The area itself is peaceful with a gorgeous garden. We did need to use our car navigator to find it but still had no issues. In general, we would definitely recommend Shambhala and look forward to staying there again one day.
