Nice Hotel, abit far away from Gloucester town centre but there is a Bus Stop right outside the Hotel that takes you there. Decent Breakfast and Good Menu Selection in the Bar/Restaurant. I would stay again. Bar area could maybe do with more staff during peak periods possibly.

Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms very spacious and comfortable quality bedding. Large bed. Shower and bathroom clean and modern. Nice touch with bottle water and hospitality tray. Breakfast was TERRIBLE. Food run out, waiting lengthy time for restock, tables dirty, poor selection of tea, milk (non dairy) and breads. Continental platter was ham and cheese- embarrassing! No eggs for 20 mins. Plates burning hot, sausages. Really cheap and didn’t even taste like sausage! Worst breakfast ever eaten in a hotel. Shame as the rest of hotel was good in every way.

Comfortable and spacious room. Annoyingly noticed the usb charging socket by the bed wasn’t working after unpacking and no socket near the bed to charge phone from so had to have on other side of the room. A minor gripe but having unpacked didn’t want the upheaval of complaining and moving rooms. Food on the expensive side.

I’ve stayed here a few times but was very disappointed this time. The welcome was warm and friendly and I would name her on here but none of the reception had name badges on. The room was clean but the mattress felt like it had a hard ridge down the middle. After about 5 minutes of watching the tv the screen would go black and then would turn back on which became annoying after a while. I couldn’t get any of the changing room lockers to work and I was really disappointed with the leisure facilities. We booked this as we both work hard in the NHS and thought a night away in a hotel with a spa would be a nice treat. What I was not told when I booked or checked in, was that neither the sauna or hot tub was working. So we only had the choice of the swimming pool or steam room. The steam room is compact to say the least. Any more than 4 in there and your almost sitting on each others laps.

Big hotel, that I was stopping at for one night. We had a meeting in one of the conference rooms followed by drinks and a meal. Everything was ok on the whole. Nothing special, but also nothing bad. Room was plenty big enough with everything I could have wanted. No issues there. I took the opportunity to use the gym which was adequate. Again no issues but also nothing special. The Food in the evening was very nice. In the morning I used the pool, which was small but did the job. Unfortunately, the Sauna and Steam room were not working. Breakfast was ok, and plenty of choice except I particularly like the cold meats and cheeses with a bagel for a hotel breakfast and there was none of these available. Overall though, all ok. Very big hotel with lots of space and I would have no issue stopping again if the need arose.

The room was clean, staff were friendly. Breakfast was awful no cups all coffee machines broken down, 15 minutes waiting for any food which was not great. Serious safeguarding issues with mobile phones in the sauna very unpleasant experience for a female. Which I did report. I would not say this was four stars 2 at best unfortunately. More staff needed as especially when large functions are on.

We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to appear on the reception desk when we wanted to check in. The room was clean though for some reason we were given what appears a disabled room.The bed was comfy and spacious but our first nights sleep was disturbed by a noisy fridge in the room. Initially it looked like the only way to switch it off at the socket was to unscrew the base fitting to access the switch but the night porters didn't have access to a screwdriver and maintenance was not on site until 8am. This spoiled a break for my wife's 60th birthday. The breakfast was really good and we did enjoy the spa facilities.

A nice hotel, checking in was quick and the lady on reception was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean though the darker wood furniture looked a little worn. Nice ‘This Works’ products in the bathroom. Was kept awake a bit with a buzzing/hammering type noise coming from my bathroom I think. When I stayed (weekday) the hotel was Being used a lot for conferences and you had to go through the conference room area to get to my room, so there was a fair amount of people and chatter about. Also some areas smelled of smoke which I think was from lots of conference members smoking outside during breaks and then coming back in again. Visited the pool and spa area. Small sauna and steam room. Nice pool, but the jacuzzi wasn’t working.

A comfortable hotel with good facilities, immaculately clean rooms, comfy beds but service seemed lacking. I.e. arrive and nobody manning reception, go to bar and wait for bar person so go to reception to ask. Meal in bar wanting drinks but queue so long its easier to fetch our own drinks from room and bring back to bar. No room service available, collect yourself. You get the idea. Bare minimal staffing

Property was fine, room good. Only 2 staff at the bar when there were 3 christmas parties going on! Took 30mins to get a drink. Sauna wasnt working.

Bit of a mix. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Restaurant food was very good. Leisure facilities good but pool felt like someone had filled it from the cold tap. Only a few brave people swim in that! Bar staff on Friday evening had zero customer service skills and obviously have had no training. No interest in customers at all. Suffice to say, they didn’t get a tip! The guy in the leisure centre on Saturday was the same. Reception staff friendly and helpful, as were the restaurant staff on Saturday evening. They DID get a tip :-) Overall, nice stay. I probably wouldn’t rebook as, for the price, the service is just nowhere near good enough and the cold swimming pool was a let down. Delta is supposed to be one of Marriott’s premium brands - so no way is this hotel up to scratch.

Had some personal property accidentally damaged by the housekeeping staff. Went down to the reception on 3 separate occasions to try and get some sort of resolution. Nobody was able to help me and on all three occasions said they would pass it on to their manager who would be in touch. Know all most a week on from checking out I’ve still not heard anything from the manager. Very disappointing.

A very pleasant stay. Only down side is, it’s the wrong side of Cheltenham for going to the races.

Reception very helpful. Quick stay all went well. Bfast very good. Scrambled egg maybe not just fried.
