725 Continental Hotel

Buenos Aires City Center Buenos Aires|2.74km from Velasco Ibarra Park
725 Continental Hotel is in a central position, short walk one way to Plaza de la Republica, with Obelisco, and a short walk the other way to Plaza de Mayo.A stop for the open top bus tours is on the other side of the street. Hailing a taxi is easy on the roadside but reception ordered a taxi without charge. The hotel has no car park, but there is paid-parking nearby. This art deco building is in a street of such buildings making for a scenic cityscape, both from the street and roof top terrace, where there is a bar and small pool. Sunset drinks were enjoyed on the roof. Room and ensuite was large and everywhere was clean. Reception directed us to 2 double rooms before finding the twin we had booked, which was an unwanted inconvenience after a long journey. There was a paid mini bar but no kettle in the room. View was across to the buildings the other side of the street. Air conditioning worked well. The lifts are slow and the wait was tiresome, but fortunately we could use the stairs from our room on a lower floor. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and there is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, which we did not use. There are tango shows and many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was adequate with omelettes cooked to order. Window tables have picturesque street views. Facilities give the five star rating, but 725 Continental Hotel is more comfortable than luxurious. Location and service on offer made it good value.

Great place and great service with great amenities. I can only recommend the Grand View Hotel and the pricing is great too 😊👍🏻🇦🇷 also one gets pretty short notice quick booking confirmation - if you are to early for checkin - you get free luggage storage while you wait for 2 PM until you can move into your room.

New and clean facilities, from the access hall, the lift and the room. The very good reception, recovery as highly positively considered that those who received me made changes at the last moment that was possible to them, to make my stay even better. As regards the service, I noticed that they have no bedroom (I suggest you express it on the sites when making the offer) and at breakfast that comes half twice as much as in any bar to a square around the hotel, The offer is poor in relation to gastronomics, but friendly in the attention.

The room was very large, old and harmonious, arranged without detail and was nice. The safe was not working. The bathroom was very young and had old furniture. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable.

Near the Capitol Building, so the location is very good, there is also a subway station nearby, and it is very convenient to travel. The hotel is an economic chain brand, but it is good to say, not bad, of course, if you can grab the special room, or it is not worth it if you do not stay at the market price.

The location is very good. There is a hot pot restaurant next to it. It is located in the city center. It is very convenient to take a taxi there. However, because it was built around 1933, there is a bit of smell in the room.

We were staying in this hotel from Monday 20 /2 to 22/2..tres nights ,Room 910 I don't recommend and then detail the negative points: Sleep and not very hygienic rooms , should chair In the halls on the way to the lift the heat is soffocating and the unsupportable smells Super uncomfortable beds Fruit very poor , inexisting variety of fruits , synthetic juice But the most regrettable is that last day ( 22/2) The hotel was very friendly and helpful . In fact, a worker went to us and told us we would run the water for a while. That was what we did for 15 minutes !! The hotel is a hotel with a 3-star and a half-star . Unfortunate forget to mention that when checking in one of the rooms we booked ( floor 16) being 16:15 was still not ready , about 17:00 my son just could access it . The excuse for the reception was that there were many people ... without words The only positive thing in this hotel was the air conditioning of the room that worked well and the power of the shower water . Summary : I do not recommend it , expensive for the very little they offer
