Very well maintained motel in convenient location within Buxton.
Main negative is the 10:00am checkout time for those on a relax type vacay, and potentially the no continental breakfast option for those used to that when they’re traveling.

We planned on camping but with the tropical storm hitting we needed to adjust our plans and Cape Pines filled our needs. Checkin was easy and the staff was super nice and friendly. This is an older place but well maintained. The room was very clean and they had hardwood floors which was nice. The only thing is I can a negative was the Air Conditioner. It was a little noisy but other than that we stayed dry and had a clean place to crash.

the room we were given was not what was advertised on line. The beds in the room could not be slept in. Furniture in the room was worn and did not appear to be clean. We asked for a refund and the manager said no. I asked nicely, explained my situation but they wouldn't work with me.
Oh well. Beware.
We were able to find better rooms up the street for 1/2 the price.

The management was friendly. The water would not stay regulated and tasted bad. The room had an odor and was not as nice as the the online pictures.
