My wife and I had a quick, 24-hour layover in Cairo and wanted to see the pyramids and sphinx and relax before a long trip home. The Four Seasons delivered in all possible ways. Concierge arranged to pick us up at the airport (flying in from Sharm El Sheikh) and then checked us in to our room, all before 9:30 am. We then had time to freshen up, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, and then meet our driver and tour guide for a trip to the sites. Our driver for the tour and also for the round trip to and from the airport was Mohsen Ahmed, and he was wonderful. Our tour guide, Ash Saad Saghloul, was also outstanding. Both gents took very good care of us, didn't rush at any point, and left any additional side trips (for shopping) completely up to us. Had us back to the hotel early in the afternoon so we could relax. We then had an early dinner at 8, which was as good as reviews have made it out to be (and, yes, we had dim sum and Chinese food overlooking the Nile as our farewell dinner to Egypt). Our room was very comfortable and the views of the Nile and the Pyramids from our balcony made it all feel very special. All said, it was a perfect 24 hours in Cairo and just what we wanted. Thanks to all at the Four Seasons for making that happen and making it so easy and comfortable.

On the banks of the Nile River, since it was a temporary reservation, the house prices in Cairo were really not cheap. When checking in, the front desk was trying hard to sell, which was a bit annoying. The lobby is super small, and it feels like the InterContinental Hotel next door is bigger. But it might be warmer here. The highlight is that the hotel feels very cozy and there is a golden retriever cabin at the door. The pool bar on the rooftop has a good view (there are relatively few seats), and the breakfast is also good. It feels more like an executive lounge. The quality of guest room supplies is average, the tissue box is peeling off, and the disposable slippers are broken.

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

There is no elevator to the lobby reception on the second floor, and heavy luggage is lifted by stairs. It's so compact that you can't even move in the toilet or shower room. It can be said that it is in the city center near the Nairo River, but I had a hard time finding dinner on Shatter Street.

Huh?), all the things that can be eaten in the breakfast room Just cereal, milk, coffee, boiled eggs and fried eggs I know that your restaurant on the M floor cannot be opened, but the unusual products are a bit too much. If I learn from your airport store, I will not deduct two points for service.

The hotel environment is quite good. There is a rooftop with a view of the city. The location is also good. It is in the city center and has very convenient places to eat. It is very suitable for the city walk. There is always hot water in the room! ! Hit the point! Many accommodations in Cairo boil water, and you have to wait a long time for the previous person to use it, but this is not the case at their house. The only thing I felt was lacking was that the blankets in the room didn't look that clean... The guy at the front desk also provided very good service. My friend even called an Uber for his flight in the early morning.

Luckily the destiny has done things right!! Attentive and very friendly people run this little hotel in Cairo downtown, close to centre, museums, shops, restaurants, cafe in a very safe area to go around in couple or solo. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and breakfast with a beautiful terrace where to spend the evening drinking something and meeting new people. Room was clean and good for 2 star hotel. Absolutely recommended and will come back!

Located by the side of Tahrir Square, this hotel is comfortable, my room was in third floor, the elevator is functional, and the staff are a bit over active. WiFi is functional, breakfast is quite limited and not much choice, even for fruit juice, one has to pay extra, corridors were full of debris and dismantled doors and windows. One can stay for a few days. Advantages of this place are important places like the Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square, shops and eateries around. I particularly enjoyed a hot cup of tea just in front of the hotel early in the morning also leisurely walk.

I consider this hotel is my home in cairo. The no.1 for all the 3 i stayed in cairo. The hotel is very near Tahrir Square, food shops, fast food, coffee shops nearby. Even I travelled other cities of Egypt i keep coming back here. Because of the staff are polite, friendly, trustworthy and I feel safe in the hotel. Main points I look for a hotel is cleanliness, good comfortable beds and hot strong shower (you dont have to take time just to take shower, the water is strong). Their laundry is a little higher to the previous hostel i stayed, but tiptop cleanliness and smell really nice, you pay right price. Other hostel they wash your clothes inside the building so its not really dried and smell like ”wet stored clothes”. They have kettle, small fridge, cable tv with english movies (MBC 2 i think), the internet is good enough. They provide towels, soap and tissue paper. They will respect your privacy and make sure you have a pleasant stay. The presentable room and toilet is nice and clean. Same as picture on the their hotel photos 🙌 Ask questions they will help you as much as they can. They help me also with ordering food coz some drivers dont speak english. Maybe the ground floor to elavator doesn't look appealling but you are safe in the hotel and the level floor very clean. This is downtown Cairo, so noise from the road will be normal, but the hotel a quiet place to stay. Thank you Mr. Rouf, and to all the staff of Grand City Hotel 🙏.

The best experience of this trip to Egypt is to stay at this hotel. The boss and the service staff have given a lot of special good experience. So, I booked this room months in advance. As we approached the arrival date, I emailed the hotel to let them know that we had a late flight coming in at around midnight. I wanted to make sure there were no issues. They replied back that it wasn't going to be a problem. The day before we arrived the hotel emailed me asking about our arrival time. Once again I told them that it was going to be a late arrival and the assured us it was not going to be a problem. We arrived at the hotel only to be told that they sold our room to someone else. I inquired as to how this could happen considering I communicated with them twice, the most recent being less than 24 hours. They didn't really have an answer, but told us that they we're going to take us to a sister hotel that was just as nice. We sat around waiting for them to get a driver to take us to this other hotel. While I was waiting I decided to look up this hotel which they told us was nicer than theirs. That was an outright lie, and this 'better hotel' was about $20 a night and had mediocre, at best, reviews. After waiting about 45 minutes to be taken to this other hotel, I learned it was about a 5-minute walk. Extremely frustrated, and it now being after 1:00 a.m. in the morning after 15 hours of flying, I decided to just walk to this other hotel. Keep in mind I've got my wife and son with me and I've never been to Cairo before. This was a very uncomfortable, highly concerning, and alarming experience. The next morning, we had planned to get up and begin our visit of Cairo, but we couldn't do that because we had to check out of this hotel, and walk to our original hotel. Once we got there, we had to sit and wait for the room we paid for to be ready. You would think the manager or owner would come over and at the very least apologize. This never happened, and as it stands I'm questioning whether or not I should dispute the charge that I paid on my credit card for a room we never received. What's most concerning, is that this hotel has a pattern for doing this. If you search other reviews online, you will find that this is happening to other customers. It would seem that they like to pull you in with the allure of their own nice hotel, only to shove you off to a lesser hotel and keep the money. My warning to anyone reading this, if you're planning on booking at this hotel, have a backup plan. You don't want to be like me where I have my wife and son at 1:00 in the morning coming into a foreign country only to find out they gave your room to someone else after you verified it twice. I would not stay at this hotel again if it was free. It is 100% not worth the risk
