It is a family hotel type hotel that focuses on warmth and comfort. It is located in a residential area around the city. There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby, and it is far away from the main city. On the way to the main city, there are many barber shops along the way.

Lovely homely hotel the warmth and friendliness helped me enormously. I stayed here while my husband was attending Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Unfortunately things didn’t go to plan and I needed to stay longer than expected. The staff were so helpful during a very stressful time. Thank you to everyone. So now I will give my opinion on the hotel itself. The rooms are very tastefully appointed with very comfortable beds.The bathroom spotlessly clean. Super food with an extensive menu. Plus fresh pizzas cooked in a pizza oven. I give this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were going racing in Newmarket and booked this hotel for one night. From arriving at the hotel, having parking on site is an absolute gem! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was lovely and has absolutely nothing wrong. A nice bathroom, nice size room, lovely bed, A fridge in the room too! We ate in the attached Italian restaurant. Food and service excellent. Also breakfast was faultless. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Thanks to everyone.

The staff in this hotel could not have been better if they had tried. Nothing was too much trouble. I went with my elderly mother and had booked a twin room with a shower - this is what they gave us on the 1st floor. They noticed her struggles on the stairs and offered us, an alternative, 2 ground floor rooms with walk in showers. The TV remote didn't work, they had batteries on hand and an apology that it hadn't been checked. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was beautiful, especially the freshly cooked poached eggs we were offered. We ate in the restaurant both nights, service was brilliant and food delicious.

I thought this hotel and restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly, the room was decent and there was car parking at the back of the hotel. I had some food in the evening in the restaurant and it was lovely. The breakfast on the morning was also to a high standard and you can request poached eggs if you wish. Overall it was a 5 star stay and I would definitely come back

Very enjoyable stay. Food very good. Staff friendly. Quiet hotel despite a lot of people staying. Very useful parking. On a bus route but easy walk into Cambridge.

I stayed here a couple of nights within a week, Monday night and Thurs night whilst my sister was there for a week visiting my nephew in the nearby Addenbrooks hospital. Free parking is available at the back of the hotel and we caught the bus near Co-Op (approx 10 min walk, but we chose that bus stop for steps) The staff were absolutely wonderful. Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank them enough for looking after my sister whilst she was there. The rooms were lovely and cosy. The first room I stayed in was a twin room with my Mum. The second room was a double by myself. The twin room was really spacious with 2 massive beds, lovely bathroom with bath and double sink. Double room was great, smelt a little overwhelmingly of fresh paint, but it was fresh, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Excellent selection of continental and hot English buffet. Juices, coffee, tea and milk. If you came away from breakfast hungry then you are far too fussy!! It was beautifully laid out and there was something for everyone. We had a meal in the restaurant. Was a little pricey but I guess if you want quality you get what you pay for ...... beautiful food!! Recommend this hotel 100%

Similar to other reviews. Tuesday night stop. Friendly staff. Car-parking a boon. There was music playing but it was turned off by bedtime. Small double room. Warm. Bed ever so slightly lumpy. Room clean. En-suite bathroom clean. Very low-pressure water in shower. Broadly, what I'd expect from a 3-star. The built-in restaurant is its trump card. Fantastic pizza. Good starter and pud. Friendly staff. Fellow guests civilised people. Would come again.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Addenbrooks Hospital. Due to the fact that my husband had an early appointment. We were not disappointed in our choice. Cannot rate it high enough. Lovely cosy atmosphere, with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent freshly made pasta which was delicious. Nice room with en suite which was immaculate. Will definitely stay again if the occasion rises. Would strongly recommend.

Lovely hotel, really clean. Staff friendly and really helpfull. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Used hotel Italian restaurant and had a great meal. Free parking at rear of hotel and regular buses into Cambridge straight outside. Pub next-door was a bonus.

Arrived at the hotel and they had my booking wrong and received no apologies for this as I had to wait until this was sorted out. The bath was dirty with what looked like red wine stains and the kettle needed descaling. The breakfast was cold with cold baked beans and not very hot. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The hospitality was the best! The staff were exceptional and helpful in any questions we could have. Look forward to staying there again if we get the chance to go to Cambridge again! The food at the restaurant could not be better!!

Faultless. Fabulous service from first stepping into the place, right to checkout. Staff in the restaurant are fabulous and very professional. Same can be said for the breakfast staff. Food was beautiful. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Really nice family atmosphere to the place, with everyone working here taking the time to greet you and smile. Would stay again.

Stayed for 1 night in a family room. Good room nothing fancy but it was nice. Beds were comfortable and room size was good. Great to have a fridge in our room! Kettle and coffee etc was available in our room. Breakfast was OK, continental foods were lovely, lots of jams, spreads, cereal, cereal toppings, toast, juice and coffee. We ordered a full English breakfast which was tasty but very small . Stil though lots there was lots to offer. Car park was great. The only slightly negatives were: Shower had no power, very slow water and towels were small more like a hair towels and not a body towel. We would stay again 🙂
