A few of the staff members were rude no one was ever available when you needed pool towels. The view of our room was amazing but our bathroom was leaking water from the roof in multiple spots. And they only replaced 2 towels during room service

The hotel left a wonderful impression! Cozy rooms, cleanliness, and a convenient location—everything was top-notch. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff deserves special praise: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. And to top it off, the weather was perfect, making the whole stay truly ideal!

Air conditioning was horrible I was sweating all night even after having it on high, it was warm air. rooms have a humid/moldy smell. I was showering and there was small insects crawling on the shampoo bottle and on the walls. Save your money!

This was my family's first trip to Mexico and we didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and though we were too early for check in they got one of our rooms ready for us immediately and gave us our wrist bands to enjoy the bar while we waited for the other. While the property is old and a tad dated, it was clean and well maintained. The beach is fantastic with lots of loungers and nice sand. The food was great! Each day breakfast, lunch and dinner had different options and there was always something one of the pickier eaters in our group found they really liked. The staff was the highlight of the experience, everyone from roomkeepers, bartenders and even the security guards were friendly and very patient even with my very limited Spanish (most of the staff spoke better english than I do spanish) Guadalupe in particular made our time at the buffet so good. He immediately took to doting on my family each time we arrived for a meal, making sure we had everything we needed, including making sure my tequila never ran dry. At the end of the trip, him and I parted with a handshake and a hug and that alone was enough to make me want to come back to Maya Caribe. Tip the staff, get your expectations in check that this isn't a 5 star resort but an incredibly cozy and authentic feeling gem and you'll have a great time.

This is an older but nice property with a nice beach. The room is a little outdated, but serves its purpose. The staff was friendly. The food is very authentic and offers something for everyone. You will need to drink fast or drink more to get the most out of the alcohol but the bartenders are nice. I would definitely stay again for the property, price and beach.

I stayed in B10. That room is highly neglected and should not be used for housing. The bathrooom sink faucet is delapitated and unhinged and the water leaks. The towels must be over 10 years old. The worst part are the peacocks that are housed right out the front door. They gackle at all hours of the night. I asked the front desk to be moved after one night. I was given room 3003. It was literally like staying at a different hotel. Night and Day.

The area by the water was beautiful, definitely a smaller resort which was nice! Rooms were ok definitely needing renovations especially the washrooms. Room service was inconsistent regarding filling supplies the soap toilet paper etc. also inconsistent on times when room service comes. Food and drinks were great options for local food and American food which was liked

Our stay was nice. The room was fine but the bathroom could use a facelift, it’s been awhile. The view was wonderful from our room. I do recommend an ocean view room if you can because the breeze is amazing.The beach was nice and there was shade in the afternoon from the buildings and trees. The food was good and of course the drinks were wonderful. The property was clean and the staff were very nice. It was a little noisy at times from the ferry and catamaran trips from the adjoining property but not enough to ruin your day. I would definitely book again as the value was worth it.
