Номер был просто восхительный, с очень красивым видом. Также в доме живут две милые собаки и павлины. Это одно из лучших мест, чтобы остановиться в Кейптауне.

We stayed here for 6 nights at the start of January and wished we didn’t have to leave! The guest house itself if absolutely stunning, with lovely communal areas and a fabulous pool. The location is so convenient to walk through the vineyards for a spot of lunch or just a short drive to the waterfront or camps bay. We felt so relaxed here as the setting is so private and peaceful. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and with the comfiest bed. Breakfast each morning was very fresh and with a nice range. We particularly loved the complimentary cake served each afternoon! On top of everything above, the thing that really made this guest house extra special are the hosts Jacques & Jenny. They are both so welcoming and happy to help with restaurant recommendations or day trip ideas. We honestly felt so at home with these two and are already planning our return trip! Thanks again for making our holiday so wonderful

We spent nearly a week at Devonport house and loved every minute. It is a beautiful place with comfortable rooms, an abundance of communal space, delicious breakfasts and most of all really lovely hosts. Jacques & Jenn were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay a real pleasure - but all the staff were wonderful (Primrose & Alan to name 2) and it really does make a difference. We'll be back!

Firstly huge thanks to J&J and all the staff at the property. You made us feel welcome and relaxed throughout the stay and everything was so easy for us.
The room we had the Olive Tree room was a spacious suite with en suite and was just comfortable, pay and beautiful.
The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and it's real selling points are the pools, a standard one and a lap pool, and the fact you can walk out the back gate to Groot Constantia literally into the vineyard. Their restaurants are absolutely beautiful as well for food and I'm a huge fan of the wine.
Breakfast is continental but just enough of what you need before.you head out or relax. The bar facilities at the property are great as well for a.frink by day or night with a wonderful wine selection.
We also used.Pinto one of the staff to get around to a vineyard and also onwards to Stellenbosch. He was excellent and it's a real plus to be able to add this to your bill rather than faff around with Uber if you're not driving. That said having parking on site is also great.
We will definitely be back and I will be recommending to friends to book! Rich & Andy UK

Jacques and Jenny are wonderful hosts and the house is an ideal base from which to explore Constantia. Situated right next to Groot Constantia winery, you can easily walk to the winery and its restaurants from the house. Also down to High Constantia and the excellent restaurants there. The rooms are extremely comfortable with well fitted en-suite bathrooms and lovely personal touches. We would definitely recommend this as a peaceful and luxurious place to stay, we had a great stay. They were also able to organise a licensed guide to take us to hike up Table Mountain which was an incredible experience and one well worth doing if you are fit enough to walk up 111 flights or steps!! It was beautiful and made all the more interesting by our excellent guide, Henning. Devonport House also have their own driver who can be booked to take you further afield.

We stayed here for a week, and Jenny and Jackques could not have been more accommodating. The room we had was huge and overlooked the garden, pool, and the plain to the west. There was no air-conditioning and it got rather hot at night. This was our only complaint. The bathroom was also huge with a shower, no bath, not a problem for us. The guests lounge overlooked the garden. It was very peaceful listening to the fountain. Downstairs is a games room ,shower room for anyone checking out late for an evening flight and loungers and chairs for the pool. There is an honesty bar which is very reasonably priced. The Continental breakfast was delicious and could be eaten outside overlooking the garden or on one of the two common or tables to allow chat with fellow guests. We would happily return

What an amazing experience!! Not only the beautiful property - suites, lounges, poolarea and garde- but not to fortet the most incredible hosts, Jenn and Jacques ! If there is noe place to stay in South Africa - this is the place! The area is perfect and safe, and close to everything.
