Beautiful place to get away from everyday life. Super peaceful and well kept. Highly recommend taking a kayak/ canoe out on the lake and sunset campfires were a great way to end the night. Also a short drive from Killbear provincial park that has some nice hiking trails worth checking out. Will definitely be coming back!

The best place to have fun and enjoy nature. Amazing views from every window! If u enjoy fishing this is the place to be! Killbear is next door for your wonderful hikes. Kayaking around the 30,000 is a must activity. Parry sound is only 20 min away!

By far the best cottage I have ever been to. ! We stayed in cottage 5 which was very clean and perfect for our stay! I personally really appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness of the cottage, as well as the helpful and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The on-site amenities, such as the private beach, kayaks, and paddleboards, also provided us with plenty of options for recreation and relaxation. Perfect to keep busy on a beautiful day! Moreover, we absolutely enjoyed the natural beauty of the surroundings and the tranquillity of the area, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway from the city. Overall, Katawoda Cottages appears to be a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation in a beautiful natural setting. I will definitely be returning!

Rare nature experience yet so close to the city. Amazing views, hikes in the woods. Must see!!! Bring your kids and they will love it. This place is also pet friendly. Nice private beach with gradual slope for the little ones.

The owner is incredibly nice and the Cottages were wonderful, we came on July 14th and 17th and although the weather has been colder the cottages were stocked with amazing views of the Georgian bay!!!

I just want to say this place is a hidden gem! The grounds are beautiful and clean! Cottages on the beach and up on the hills. Clean and everything you need in a kitchen such as all utensils, cutlery, dishes, etc , dtove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and more! They provide sheets, comforters and towels if needed and if you prefer to bring your own, you can! Each cottage has a long porch with table, chairs, and a bbq! Each area has picnic tables and firepits too. They have wood available by the wheelbarrow for $20. Shopping is just 10 and 15 minutes away! They offer canoeing, kayaking for kids abd adults. Only $5 pet half hour! Such a great deal! There ate docks for docking your own small boats and a dock for fishing. There is a volleyball net on the beach, kids water toys, you can swim at the beach and walk out pretty far in shallow clear water. Just bring and wear water shoes as there are plants in the water as you get out further into the water but the sand is soft! Views are breathtaking and amazing! The family ruined business is like a well oiled machine. They are a very lovely Polish family who are very nice and helpful! They work hard to maintain the grounds and cottages clean! For rainy days or colder days, they have many board games and dvds! There are tvs and dvd players in the cottages. There is no wifi but we connected via our cellular network which worked perfectly. No issues! So many great places nearby to visit too! Perfect location for relaxation, fun and amenities and without feeling completely isolated. We will be back again!

The cottage was amazing. The property was secluded. Very nice getaway for a family. The cottage was fully equipped. I will definitely go again one day. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Great for bird watchers.
