Onçe again the Mansion House has surpassed it's self, we last visited some six months ago and was amazed at the service and the standard of the food. This time we were not let down were greeted at the door and shown to a comfortable seat too have our pre dinner drunks, our order was taken the menu was different to last time with a good choice of courses, with two courses for £21 or three for £31, the meal was served and what à treat the chef has excelled ,all four of us had the same comments fantastic. The two young people who looked after us should be very proud of themselves they are a credit to the restaurant, and the chef well what can you say outstanding. Don't take my word for it visit the Mansion House yourself and impressed

A surprise Mothers Day lunch, we walked in to a very warm welcome from staff to take our coats, the place was spotless lots of very friendly helpful and attentive staff The food was superb, classic cooking, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I had roast lamb followed by Ferraro Roche cheesecake all home made, just faultless!

Absolutely amazing stay, excellent as usual, we absolutely love mansion house, 5* for everything.The quality of the food is absolutely delicious, a culinary delight. The best kept hidden gem in south Wales,would highly recommend a stay.

Had dinner at the Moryd restaurant last night. Everything was first class. Warm welcome from Rory lovely table setting. Starters,main course and puddings excellent. The wide choice of meals using local ingredients made it difficult to chose. Between us we have pigeon or mussels as starters main course of guinea fowl or lamb. A very enjoyable evening much appreciated by our friends from Dorset Thank you all.

We went here for my parents Golden Anniversary. We had a lovely evening. The food was superb, very tasty and of a high quality. The service was also excellent. I can highly recommend the Pigeon and Guinea Foul.. Delicious!! It’s well worth a visit!

This was our second visit to the restaurant and I can honestly say this is the best place to eat in this area. We live locally and will be back often. Definitely the nicest food I’ve had in years. This is more than a 5 star place.

It was a long journey but well worth it. Room was small but perfect. The food in the restaurant was wonderful - all three courses were excellent. This small hotel/restaurant is a gem. Staff were great. Thank you for your hospitality and I hope to return

Amazing personal lunch for my mothers 70th surprise. Food was amazing and staff were lovely and very attentive. All the family thoroughly enjoyed and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend

A much anticipated Sunday Lunch treat by a friend for a birthday.. The positives.. What a beautiful setting with fantastic views across the estuary to Ferryside on a glorious sunny day.. The price for the meal was exceptionally good value.. I have a few intolerances {Onions, garlic and mushrooms} so i knew there would be some limitations ..I was looking forward to a delicious Sunday Roast.. The Negatives Of the starters i had only one option {without a chutney} so making the ham hock terrine very dry as it came with a large hunk of seeded bread and a limp piece of lettuce. Also of the mains i only had one real choice as the sunday roast with gravy was unavailble to me unless I had it without gravy!! I was very surprised that such a large hotel was unable to provide me with some gravy... so i had no choice really to order the haddock ..It was delicious , albeit not my original choice.. The dessert I chose was a pistachio brownie and although warmed,it was so hard and like a bullet, not soft and unctious as a brownie should be.. My first impression was not a great one.. Would i return?? I don't think so..
