Hotel les Roches Blanches Cassis

The view is great but the staff is not attentive at all and overall the hotel is a bit tacky.

This is my third stay at Les Roches Blanches, and every time I end up extending my stay when I’m there. I like it that much, and they are that good at making me be happy to be there. A very special place.

Great location overlooking Cassis . Rooms compact for a five star hotel but great views . Breakfast on the terrace a must . Dinner in the restaurant overpriced and portions very small but good atmosphere in the restaurant . Concierge excellent . Staff very friendly . Lovely welcome from Audrey on reception . This hotel has to be one of the very best I’ve stayed in! We stayed for 3 nights for my 40th birthday. There is nothing I could fault. The location is stunning, the staff were mostly very friendly and accommodating. It doesn’t come cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would love to return one day

The Hotel and setting of the hotel were wonderful. Julien the restaurant manager was super warm and welcoming and really added to our stay!

I loved everything about this hotel. Our room was so comfortable and well equipped. The staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the food was delicious. You can swim and kayak right from the little platform at the hotel. Easy walk to town and Mateo, at the concierge desk, could not be more helpful. The whole experience was sublime!

The positives: - The outdoor pool area is truly spectacular, lots of lounge chair options to enjoy the view - Pool options and ocean options (swell and weather permitting) - Very clean room with a comfortable bed - Staff at Rocco very friendly, the environment at Rocco is very pleasant and the food and wine enjoyable - Good communication from concierge in advance of the trip regarding services - A ten or so minute walk into town The negatives/ opportunities for improvement - No real service in the pool outdoor areas. We generally had to ask for towels. No explanation or check in on whether we wanted to use the ocean facilities, no check in on whether we wanted to order something to eat or drink or whether that was possible, no water offered. Some of the chairs are looking tired. For a hotel of this rating I would expect at least an explanation of the ocean facilities and water service - Service felt a little cold in general and was often slow. - Breakfast service was hit and miss, there seemed to be optional hot food judging by a placard on the table but no explanation on how to ask for it and the chef seemed to not arrive until much late in the breakfast service. Some issues with flies around the cheese and cold meats section. - I believe our car was parked outside for our stay of 4 nights judging by the dirt and dust on it when we picked it up. This was not transparent. - advertised partial ocean view was non existent. Some better sound proofing would be of benefit.
