Caye Caulker Condos

This condo is located near The Split and across the street from the SipNDip restaurant/bar. The front door faces the ocean and the back door faces the pool. We loved being able to swim in the ocean and the pool. We made coffee in our room every morning and sat on the porch to watch the sunrise. We played with the resident kitty. The supply of kitchen items was enough to cook meals. The cleaning lady, manager, and maintenance man were all very friendly. Great location for walking to stores and restaurants. Air conditioning worked well.

I have been using Caye Caulker Condos for stays with my college students for many years. Accommodations are superb. The A/C is great, but open up your front (ocean view) and back (pool view) doors and get that sea breeze going! Roof is a great place to hang out. The staff are always friendly and helpful. In room kitchen is nicely appointed and makes cooking a breeze.

We loved this place so much we originally booked 3 nights but extended 6 more nights! Perfect location next to the split and a short walk to anywhere on the main ***** with restaurants shops and drinking spots nearby. We stayed in a second floor corner suite with two large comfortable beds and many comfy pillows. We didn’t cook but there’s a well stocked kitchenette along with purified water. The bathroom has a large shower with two shower heads to clean off the day activities. The showers are nice and hot while the room was nice and cool with strong AC. The room has a spacious balcony directly across from the water and palm trees with beautiful views and chairs to relax and people watch. There’s also a very large covered deck on the top floor with hammocks tables and lounge chairs with great panoramic views of the water. In addition to that there’s room cleaning and onsite bikes for use daily. Almy and Vanessa are so amazing talking to them is like talking to longtime friends! They were beyond helpful in everything we needed and the questions we had in planning our days.

The condos are close to the Split, but that has its negatives, It is directly across from the Sip & Dip bar which cranks loud music until midnight. Then, the neighbors have 7 dogs that bark ferociously (and fight) all night long. After we spent the day there, our bathroom light went out and needed new bulbs and the office lady gave me attitude for asking to get the bulbs replaced so we could see. Seems like a basic amenity that I should have to get attitude for wanting it fixed. To say something nice I'll add that the rooms are a good size and the patio in front is cute. I don't think you need to stay that close to The Split, everything is so close anyway. Stay further away and enjoy your sleep.

Situated in the perfect spot next to the beach, within walking distance (well, the whole island is realistically in walking distance), Caye Caulker Condos provided a comfortable and cozy place for us to stay for the duration of our time in Belize. The pool was clean, the rooms were clean, our water was always full. They were very accommodating. The porch and the rooftop views were unmatched. I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful little place to stay if you want to be in on all the action! Busy during the day but gets quiet at night. Can't say enough about the Housekeepers. They were amazing! Don't usually get housekeeping included with Airbnb so very nice surprise! Lots of eating option close by too

Location wise, these are in a great location - 2 mons walk from The Split and with lots of vars and restaurants very close by. Sip N Dip is almost directly opposite. We took a golf cart taxi from the water taxi terminal for $USD5 for 2 people and 2 cases. When we arrive at the condos, everything is up stairs so get help with your bags to get them to the first floor level and if you can leave someone with the bags while you check in as this is up another set of stairs. Check in wasn't terribly helpful about where our room was - the door was wedged open and the room number wasn't visible so they just gestured to it and let us find it. The room is clean and basic - bed is comfortable and the room has AC and a fan. We had a first floor room which had a nice balcony overlooking the street and the beach. Great for a sunrise! The room has complementary coffee and coffee filters for the coffee machine, a good size fridge and a really large container of drinking water. The closest food store is just down the road - about 3 mins walk away. You get given pool towels and the safe key with warnings about fines if these are lost! The swimming pool is nice - you need to dip in a lot as it's hot when you side here as there is very limited breeze. Ideally there should be more sunbeds by the pool as there are only 3 on 1 side which is a bit limited. The sunbed cushions were left out each night and were soaking in the morning after night rains - so we had to lay them out and wait for them to dry. The office reception is only open in office hours - let them know if you need to check out early and they will arrange where you can leave towels and keys. It's a great location for a reasonably priced place to stay.
