Cha-am Cha-am Subdistrict Hotels

This is the best front beach hotel for family and chilling out even hotel was so busy but still very nice to stay here. Bar beach very nice. Only one staff at bar but she is very nice. FB servers are so lovely and nice to help and suggest. Specially K.Pon (sorry i forget his name) Front desk were attractive to help us specifically K.It (bell boy) he is very active. K.Puy (GSA) is good to help us also. Breakfast was okay, food is good. but I would love to recommend to egg station. FB should have a order papers egg because we have to stand there and wait. Room was smell not good but it okay. Water smelly from start but after a while it better. HK were nice. Overall here is very nice. We will come back here again.

This really is a delightful hotel. Not the biggest in the area, but that suits us fine. Situated between Hua Hin City and Cha Am town in a small village called Bhan Kwai, the Cera Resort Hotel is by the beach although more on that later. Bhan Kwai itself is a delightful small typically Thai village with a good number of eating places as well as a few bars, plenty of massage places, tailors and a 7/11 supermarket. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the village. The hotel is very clean, has lovely staff from the manager down to the gardeners who work tirelessly to keep the grounds looking lovely. It is also very reasonably priced. The hotel has two blocks of accommodation, one over the reception area and the other 30 yards away the other side of the bar area. We have only stayed in the rooms above reception, so my comments are based on those rooms. The room was a very good size with a massive bed that could sleep four 😊 I’m a back sufferer, but I found the bed very comfortable. There’s a fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, hairdryer, coat hangers, TV and a good sized safe. They also supply dressing gowns and flip flops if you wish to use. The bathroom is also large with a small bath and large shower, just be careful in the shower as there are no slip mats and whilst we have had no problems, I am aware of two elderly guests who have slipped and fallen, but sadly that happens in a lot of hotels. Like the rest of the hotel, it is kept very clean. There is always hot water, but on odd occasions the temperature can fluctuate while showering, so take care if children are using as the hot water is very hot. Each day, two bottles of water are left in your room which was very much appreciated. POOL AREA The pool area is a delight and has a good sized pool which at its deepest is 1.6meters deep, so even a shorty like myself can just about stand up in it without taking in water. There is also a child’s pool attached which I found nice to sit in and read my book🤓 Pool beds are now the plastic sort and towels are collected at reception. Sufficient brollies around the pool and there is also a sanded and shaded area just off the pool area if you like it a shade cooler. You can also take the short walk (30 seconds) down towards the sea where there is another sanded area with pool beds and brollies. There are steps down to the beach and sea, although at the present time, the sea is right up to the wall most of the time, so if you want a beached area by the sea, you need to go left and you are soon on the long sandy beach. They have had to sand bag the beach for some distance, so the very best of the beach is a few hundred meters along towards the sailing club and the delightful Cha Am village bar and restaurant, a must visit if you are out there. BREAKFAST Breakfast is taken in the breakfast area just over a small road that leads down to the sea, the staff are efficient, polite and good humoured and there is a good selection of food on offer. The resort consists of a number of villas laid out on a large area of land. Widely spaced so it is very quiet. It is just off the main road, but there is a 7-11 close by and a restaurant on the other side of the road. Apart from that not much outside of the area. Friendly and efficient reception staff and transportation to the room. The room is big with an extra couch, a fridge with complimentary water, a balcony and a bathroom with toilet and shower. All is not new but in good condition. The aircon is a bit loud. There is a coffee machine, but the cups need to be purchased at 50 baht each. WiFi works well, only annoying the repeated request for log in. At night the room is very dark. There is a large pool (about 30 meters long, 1.20 m deep) with around it enough reclining chairs. A bit spartan, no cushions, as with the chairs on the balcony. The hotel is situated on the beach front.There is some music from the bar but not too loud and bit away from the bar it is quiet. The restaurant serves mainly Thai food and sometimes here is some live music (mostly Thai songs). Breakfast is very extensive and service is friendly. There is the inevitable music to entertain you, but if you prefer to unwind more quietly you can sit outside or by the pool. All in all this place is good value for money.

To be honest, it exceeded expectations for this price. The whole family is very satisfied. First of all, the receptionist has a very good attitude. If there are any problems, they will be solved in a timely manner (for example, if there are mosquitoes in the room, someone will immediately arrange for someone to send a mosquito killer and mosquito swatter). They greet me warmly every day. The location of the hotel is well-equipped with facilities, and there is a free bus to Hua Hin every day. However, the food in the hotel is already very good, and I have only been to Hua Hin once. The location is great, you can go directly to the beach from the swimming pool, and you can lie on the beach all day. Because it is a small crowd, there are not many people, and the breakfast is not crowded at all. I will come here next time if I bring the elderly at home!

Raya Hotel is in the Cha-am area, under a very shady place, with big trees and a road for bicycling, both for children and adults. The resort doesn't have many rooms so it won't be chaotic. Good service staff Big breakfast There is a canvas bed to sit on for free. There are swimming pools for both children and adults. There are towels available. The pool is quiet.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, der Service einzigartig. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Erfrischungsgetränk in der Lobby empfangen. Danach wurden wir zu unserem Zimmer gebracht, alles wurde durch einen freundlichen Mitarbeiter erklärt. Das Hotelzimmer war gross, hell und sauber. Jeden Tag wurde es gereinigt, neue Handtücher bereitgelegt. Ein Balkon mit Blick auf den Hoteleingang war dabei. Der Swimmingpool mit Blick auf das Meer war atemberaubend. Das Restaurant in dem wir das Abendessen zu uns nahmen war ebenfalls mit Blick auf das Meer wunderschön. Der Service war einzigartig, das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend. Waren immer darauf bedacht das es uns an nichts fehlte. Der Abschied fiel schwer, denn es war ein traumhafter Urlaub in einem tollen Land, mit sehr freundlichen, entspannten Menschen die uns den hektischen Alltag in unserer Heimat vergessen ließen. Sehr gerne kommen wir, wenn es uns möglich ist, in dieses wunderschöne Land sowie Resort wieder.

We arrived on the 10th July 2022. We checked into our fourth floor Seaview room in the early evening and went out for our evening meal, when we returned and unpacked we noticed how small the room was, certainly smaller than our bedroom at home, but we did have a Seaview. The bed was certainly less than 183cm, I'm 188cm so my legs hung over the end of the bed, my Partner was ok though. The aircon was working, but about 4.30am there was a loud bang outside of the room and the aircon stopped working. The only way you can contact reception is to walk there or use your mobile phone, it was cool so I decided to report this later, which I did. The Engineer from an outside company arriver later in the day and decided this may take some days to repair. The Manager on duty decided we could not change our room, so I asked for a refund which was denied. Then it was decided that we had to use our room during the day, but sleep in another room that had working aircon at night, the first room was on the third floor, we used that for two nights then transferred to the room opposite our on the fourth floor, which had been empty all the time we where there. Different Manager could see the problems we were having walking between rooms on different floors and no help or assistance given carrying our luggage between rooms. Eventually the aircon in our room was repaired, took a team of three Engineers to complete the task and we moved back into our booked room. The Managers on duty when this incident occurred, two young men are in need of extensive customer relations training, you should not have to knock on the partition at reception to gain their attention, too busy looking at their mobile phones to deal with anyone. We wanted to rent a motorbike, reception quoted 500 baht a day, everywhere else 200 baht or less per day, so we rented elsewhere. We found that our motorbike had been moved during the night on one occasion, to a place where it blocked access to the kitchen entrance, one of the kitchen staff was very rude to my Partner, thinking we had placed the motorbike there. The positive comments on our stay, the breakfast was really good and all but three of the Staff were excellent.

Accommodation near the beach and a source of food is convenient, but the room is small and a bit stuffy.

Dream hotel was a great place to stay. I booked a standard room which came with a full-size bed (a bit small), wardrobe w/safe, 2 small tables, bathroom with hot water, AC, balcony, and kitchen. Kitchen had fridge, kettle, microwave, and dishes. Balcony had a table and chairs. Room was very comfortable and brightly lit. Wifi was stable. They also offer good deals for monthly stays. Staff were excellent, very helpful and kind. The lobby was very comfortable too, great place to relax with a beer or coffee. Location is perfect, just a few steps to the beach, and restaurants are everywhere. I would happily stay here again.
