Its more of an upgraded version of a lodge. Cannot be classified as hotel. Numerous reasons for it, so lets cut it brief : Location : The hotel is located in Sector 17. The distance from chandigarh railway station is around 6.5 kms and from the airport is around 15 kms. The Positives : Location. Yes, the only positive part about this hotel is its location. Availability of restaurants like sagar ratna, kfc, seven eleven in the nearby. A new cafeteria has opened up Chhota Banaras which is worth trying and at walking distance from the hotel. The Negatives : The property needs a terrible maintenance check. The room and bathroom has leakage issues. The showers are not in working condition in most of rooms. Its either that hot water not available or the shower knob itself is missing. No ample working power sockets to charge your mobile phones. My recent trip was so worst that ***** with ceiling leakages in room and bathroom, the power plugs were not working, the air condition was non functional, no availability of hot water (i was given 1 bucket of hot water for bath). Frequest power outage and insufficient generator backup. The rooms are not well lit, they are under lit. No uniformity in lighting which clearly indicates the 'jugaad' concept. Not the first time that had such an experience at this hotel. In past also issues had been there but ***agement doesnt seem to make it correct. AVOID THIS HOTEL EVEN FOR FREE !
