The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is quite dated and the front desk is manned at limited times of the day.

Good value for two night visiting my child at university.
But they could have taken a little more care in a few minor areas:
No milk in bedroom for tea/coffee
Only one light working in bathroom

Stayed here as our son had a sports trial in Quorn.
Hotel is very spacious and we were upgraded to a room with two bedrooms which was lovely.
Breakfast was great.
Perfect location for a walk in to nearby pubs and restaurants.

Generally the hotel was ok but my first night I arrived late and was placed in a room with no heating on a cold night. The air con was not working and they had placed a small oil heater in the room but it seemed to switch off after 15mins. I had a very cold and restless night. When I raised it the next morning they dealt with it well and I was moved to a much better room.

Amazing location in lovely village. lovely old building. room quirky but cosy, breakfast very good. staff were just lovely The lower mark was for the cobwebs everywhere.

First time at this hotel. Room and bathroom good. Good location. Plenty car parking. Food very average. Poor service and grumpy or moody staff. Its all in the detail.
