Had a two night stay and had a bar meal and breakfast with family....all great couldn't fault anything and the staff were all hard working and friendly and sorted any requests rooms were spacious and decorated tastefully.....thanks for a great service

Not been in here for sometime but had a walk up this afternoon and Scott made us feel very welcome we had a sharing starter as we just needed a snack & from what we had we would highly recommend all staff very pleasant & we will definitely be returning

Staff were extremely helpful and attentive, the bar is well stocked with a plethora or real ales which is always good news. Food very good with plenty of choices. The selection of wine was varied and I can recommend the Chablis. The hotel room was clean and tastefully decorated with a good sized bathroom.

We had booked a table for five people after going to manchester to the theatre a lovely ending to a fantastic day meal and service great excellent service by Lauren an asset to the team I would recommend a visit for a meal or drink great atmosphere

I visited this pub for the first time with a friend this week and will definitely be back. I was served by Evan who is a credit to the pub. He was polite, professional and went out of his way to check with kitchen staff about my friend’s dietary requirements. Thanks Evan

Goods & bads, as the title suggests! The food & the staff were good & helpful, but..... my room was up quite a lot of stairs [I do understand that it is a listed building, but this should be advised in the description], the room was VERY hot despite the fan, which really just moved the hot air around. England just has to come terms with cooling! The worst bugbear was the wifi, which was almost impossible to connect to, so much so that the Asst Manager had to use his personal login to get me online! It is a general login from their association [Greene Inns], which requires setting up an a/c etc, & more difficult if you have an o/s address! Apparently the staff have complained, but no resolution as yet
