my experience with this hotel stay was horrible. I had made it clear when making my reservation online which kind of bed I wanted, but when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist gave me two single beds. When I told the receptionist that I had mentioned my preference, he removed the option where people had only asked whether to book double or twin beds, indicating that he was unable to accommodate them. They don't even mention a tick mark for this option at all. He said maybe on the next day he can consider changing me to another room. Secondly, in the twin bed room, there was neither ac nor availability of a fan. the ac was on but not in working condition. the maintenance team tried but could not rectify it. in a closed room with neither ac nor air circulation, i was undergoing suffocation and felt choking. After I brought up the issue with the receptionist once more, they gave me a different room with the same air conditioning system, although it was slightly better than the previous one with less air coming in. Since it was already 10 in the evening, i decided to stay there. But the next day, I mentioned it to another hotel person, who said he would look into it but never did anything. On the first day in the washroom, no toiletries were provided. This too, I informed the receptionist, who said he would arrange but never did it. Such an irresponsible person. After checking out the next day, I paid for the hotel food bill. When I asked for the receipt for the bill, he said it would be sent online. Here, he did not check if the online booking agent deducted the amount from my stay. So i was out on my official work, thinking that the bill would be received after 12 pm with deduction details However, to my surprise, i received call from the hotel staff saying bill was not settled, When i told them the online booking agent had collected the payment method, he said they did not yet paid. I have told them to send me an online payment method for me to make the payment, for which they sent a QR code, which did not accept more than certain amount. I have informed them that I could send the money due to this. By then, the hotel staff went on making calls after calls instead of rectifying their mistakes. I told them I was doing official work and i can look into it after I completed it. These ****** are not ready to understand it and went on making calls to me, which caused a lot of embarrassment in front of my official workplace, for no mistake of mine. I again had to excuse myself in the middle of my work and called and told them to send me Google Pay, and one lady, after telling me, sent her personal number, to which I made the payment. The hotel staff is so unprofessional and don't know how to service customers. I travel to Chennai for work quite a bit, but I have never had such a bad experience with a hotel before.
