First time but we had very good experience in polo orchid, we love the food and service and special mention to mr Anthony lyngdoh who look after us very well ... recommended place every one must visit once, beautiful place with great view from the hotel....,,,...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The overall experience of the property was out of this world.Ambience,location and staff everything was just perfect as you can see seven sister waterfalls from your cottage only.The suprise planned by Pradeep Chakraborty(house keeping executive) just made our day.

Really bad experience as money was stolen from my bag The place and view from hotel was nice however rooms and bathrooms.The day before we checked out, money was stolen by laundry girl from my bag I call her for laundry N I was in washroom n seeing her When she taking Clothes for ironing n She took some money also from my bag minimum 1500 .then I ask from another staff about her name then I get to know her name is kyntiewnam she is very sharp please take a Good Action about her Otherwise your management will be in problem In future I thought I will tell it on time but i don't feel good to say on face so I write it here. I guess we should be cautious while staying in this property and avoid carry any money if you still want to stay here. It looks like hotel management is part of this business of looting their customers.please taken action n will share it with Mr Deval n Niroj

1. We had booked a villa for 31st May night. The intercom was not working, so I had again and again come to reception for services. There was a lizard in the room. The bathroom door was creaking so much on opening, that someone sleeping would get up. Nothing was good, besides the view.

We are just back in Mumbai and we still miss your resort which is heavenly and beautiful its location & design make it more like heaven and as it said material things can not make things beautiful, it is the human touch that makes the material things look and feel like heaven the people /staff who take care of this heaven makes this place more BEAUTIFUL AND LOVEABLE………Our beautiful experience with some of the loveable team members ; • Mr. Pawan - Who was so supportive and softly spoke to arrange my daughter's birthday arrangements in her room with CUTE decoration. • Mr. Augustine and the Team made my Daughter's Birthday CAKE and presented it in a restaurant on the birthday evening and a small beautifully decorated cute Pestri for a mid-night birthday cake cut. • The Live Singing Team at the restaurant was so good at singing and their VOICES were sweet and enjoyable … We will never forget the song sung by them… they are really really good all of them …. We appreciated their gesture of singing special. Birthday song for my daughter that evening. • Mr. Pujari/Pujara …. The Manager of the Spa and adviser to us for double Decore living root bridge tracking TIPS for successful completion. He was quite good in guiding us very well for the double Decore bridge tracking/trek. Overall, it was LOVELY MEMORIES we carried back to Mumbai, and hope to see you guys sometime again. We stayed at the Polo Orchid for 2 Nights in May 2024, the weather was pleasant in the evenings & sunny during the day. Pool Side is very well made & there is breathtaking view anytime of the day. Sunrise at 4.00am is a must do activity from the deck area. The restaurant serves quality food & the pizza is the show stopper of the menu, the buffet breakfast is vast with variety & live counters. Special Mention goes out to Shri Pawan Singh ji for his warmth & hospitality throughout our stay, he guided us well to explore one hidden waterfall nearby & is very efficient & courteous in his service to guests. Pawan ji is also has good know how of all the nearby places in true essence. We were also presently greeted with Somnath ji who took good care of our spa sessions. He is very knowledgeable with the locality & accomodating of requests. Also, mentioning Amanda at receiption for smooth check in process.

Overall the hotel is very good.you can spend your special time there. Room is very nice. But one thing the bed should be more proper n ther bathroom the water is not going properly may be it can be in specific room. Staffs are very good n well behaved. Room decorations also very nice. SITALIN is very good girl. She is friendly. Those who r sang the song it's really awesome.I don't no the names of those singers but it's really awesome. Pool is nice where from you can see the seven sisters falls... It's a awesome scenery. Gaming zone is there. Food is awesome. One thing from the hotel for travellers should be pick up n drop system at least from bus stop.. Thank u..

Excellent property in the midst of chirapunjee mountains. Courteous staffs. Sohra Dining hall nicely done and food was awesome. Mr. Pawan was really guiding us about trekking and yoga. He was also kind enough to come alongwith us for a trekking of 2 hours and showcasing us the beauty of nature. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Best wishes to Mr. Pawan.

fantastic location, breathtaking views from Infiniti pool . great food at sohra Mr.Pawan from hotel took us to DOUBLE DRIVE WATERFALL which was like a private natural oasis we had a fantastic experience Hotel Wi fi was not working properly and should be improved

Service is great. Even when there’s a lot of rain the staff is always available and and ready to serve with a smile. The views of the waterfall are fabulous. I think because of the recent rains the waterfalls look even better . The swimming pool is very large and very good fun.

The most touching part of the stay was the 2 most beautiful staff(lady singer Sitalin and restaurant boy Firstborn) their gesture, quick response to any call was so touching. And the location of the property was stunning. Need to improve restaurant service and bar

Polo Orchid Resort They provide different type of rooms with different facilities such as normal rooms, cottages, rooms with pools etc. The location is awesome from where you can have a view of seven sister falls. The rooms are clean but there was bit foul smell may be due to some faulty drain construction which is may Be an issue in that particular room. The beds require some improvement as these are like an oval shape. They provide all the bathroom amenities and different type of teas, coffee ***** with milk hocolate and dark chocolates which were awesome. They provide complementary snacks and tea at 4pm to 5pm. In the same area its having pool, chess, carrom, table tennis for refreshment. The Shohra house which is the dinning area have buffet system in the dinner and lunch. The lunch and dinner consists of different type of food (both veg and nonveg) with one dish of local tastes which is delicious. During dinner the live music where the you will find hindi and Hollywood songs Nd those were so awesome that you will never find any differences in comparision with the original song. The hospitality there is is awesome. Thanks to Albert, Sitalin, Tynraibor for the hospitality, the songs you sang and the introduction to the khasi religion briefly. The breakfast is having several food options where u can have a nice start to the day and the timing is from 7am to 10am. The awesome thing I found here that if you have taken any food and you are unable to complete it they will pack it and you can take it as parcel without wasting it. The common swimming pool is accessible from 6am- 6pm. It's the place where can have the fun inside water with the view of seven sisters falls. The only thing I found they are lagging that there is no drop and pickup fascilities. Polo orchid should provide atleast drop and pickup from atleast sohra taxi stand.

I recently stayed at the Polo Orchid Resort in Cherrapunji and had a pleasant experience overall. However, there were some aspects that did not meet my expectations for a premium stay. We opted for the highest level category room, the Misty Villa, by paying a premium. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations. The room's furniture, bed linen, and flooring were not up to the standard expected of a premium room. This was the main reason for the reduced rating. The food at the resort was good, with a variety of options that were well-prepared and delicious. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel offers stunning views, which are definitely a highlight of the stay. Despite the shortcomings in the room quality, the overall experience was positive. If the resort improves the quality of its premium rooms, it would easily warrant a higher rating.
