Best Western Plus Angel Hotel Reviews

Receptionist in the morning was pleasant had issues in the hotel had to check in later . I asked for 2 double rooms which wasn’t actioned . When checking in later in the day after 4pm a different receptionist gave us 2 double rooms however she was not knowledgeable about the area nor if dinner was from the menu or buffet as she didn’t work in that department ! Miserable girl, hospitality definitely isn’t her forte . Breakfast starts at 8am however the hot breakfast wasn’t laid out till 8;30 and missed our train because of this as we had to rush . It’s imperative breakfast is served at the time stated . Staff were apologetic however this has happened before . Hotel very central and generally very pleasant stay . I would stay again .

Lovely hotel, polite and friendly staff, ample parking, excellent location in the heart of town. Only negative is the stains on the bathroom walls that could easily be removed with a little more attention to detail and the cold tap hardly let out any water. Unfortunately there wasn't any real ale available whilst we were there thus stopping us from enjoying that facility.

Amazing and professional yet personable. We are booked up for another night in January.

The hotel has started to charge for parking. Money grabbing opportunity and one that will come back to bite.

Good hotel, very clean, nice staff, good breakfast. Gym could be improved as there are no free weights, kettlebells etc.

The bedside lights in my room didnt work, but the main ones did. No airconditioning meant a warm night, but there was a fan so that was acceptable. The breakfast was very average, and esepcially the sausages, they were a bit tough... Overall though, room was clean and tidy and had all the ammenities... also the chap manning the night desk was nice and dropped me off so toilet roll when asked. The bar and waiting areas were nice, and the overall ambience pleasing.

Great hotel in the centre of the town. Lots of parking Very clean, big bed and room. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely bar and good choice of food for Breakfast Swimming pool and gym looked lovely, but we didn't use them Would definitely stay here again and try other Best Western hotels now, such good value and lovely staff

This is a pleasant, comfortable hotel nea the center of the Chippenham village. We enjoyed the simple English Breakfast. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

One the whole it was ok, but the fact that I had to asked for the beds to be separated as my booking was for a room with 2 single beds, the staff where pleasant enough but didn’t not seem to go the extra mile like you would have expected from someone that used to have outstanding ratings on there establishment and customer service. The room was ok but lacked the niceties ie bottles of water and should like

Very good size room comfy bed and clean. Room was next to the door into the main corridor so lots of door bangs at night and morning. Otherwise good.

Hotel is really nice the only downside is if the weather is nice the rooms get unbelievably hot

Most rooms are in the relatively new extension which doesn't have an elevator! Included breakfast is excellent.

Good facilities, Breakfast was good and a lot to choos from. Bed were comfortable and the pool and facilities were good. Room a mixture of new and old bathroom looked newer but needed more love and care on cleanliness front. Overall enjoyed our stay.
