Overall not bad So hotel looked nice from outside and reception and grounds are well maintained . There are a few shops up hill from hotel including pharmacy. Supermarket and double decker coffee shop. Bus stop nearby for travel to harbour area etc On arrival if by coach you are welcomed with champagne, we arrived by taxi but not offered anything , but not a downer as drinks offered at hotel were more than reasonable. Our room was a standard twin with limited sea view , we won the lotto on room number ending in 1400 section , which led to start of confusion. Our room was on 1st floor second corridor which sounds easy but means when u leave lift u have no idea where ur room id as only lists 2300 on 1st floor and means walking around until u can find Second corridor . Room was clean and clean and cleaners did good job of tidying our room daily , soaps were restocked daily but milks for coffee was hit and miss. Water bottles were provided to us with note to say refill stations were in hotel and to refill bottles. Safe was free to use just needed to add a pin . We had slippers and robes but neither fitted us as too small . As it wasnt expected we skipped trying to get them changed but expect hotel would if asked. Hotel offers a pillow service again we didnt try as found provided pillows were enough. sun loungers are allocated on first day and yours for duration , you can change if available later if you want another location. We had a place near the beach and did find it quite nice , we supect others used them as found them with cups and cigarette butts on return from trips , but were alway vacant when we needed to use. Beach access was good and steps into water which was very useful , expected the beach and bar to be adults only private but this was also not the case , people was walking through not from hotel a walk through is open further up from beach but beach area was separate to this . This meant was nervous about stuff left as anyone could in theory take stuff walking through. On several occasions young children came from outside resort with local/other hotels families and used facility’s suspect the beach is open to public but screaming and rock throwing was unfortunate in adult only report. Food was buffet based and for omnivore it was great , my partner is a veggie and found it tuff going , Not labeled correctly or limited selections. Cocktails were similar pot luck mixing so same drink may taste different dependant on location. Two other restaurants were open as we were out of season by few days , we ate in route 66 , word to wise the cheese sticks in photos should a nice stack you get two lol. Coffee shop was a nice touch just wish they knew to tamper the coffee after grinding really. We didnt use the pool bars but there was infinity pool and swim bars Nice koi pond and few cats in grounds Sunset bar was nice and lovely sunset views Overall stay was not bad for what we got. as we was leaving noticed

We travelled with Jet2Holidays. Our flight had been slightly delayed but we managed to get to the hotel before the AI midnight cut off at around 11.40pm, so we were quick to check in at reception but there was no champagne on arrival or help with luggage, one member of staff behind the desk and a waiter to help with the wristband allocation. We head to the bar for refreshments and finally begin to relax, but the barman was keen to point out the midnight cut-off stating drinks are charged thereafter. Our rooms were side by side (not adjoining), side facing sea view which we had booked in the UK. Rooms were OK, huge bed and very comfortable, robes and slippers for use in the room only! Hairdryer in the drawer, plenty of storage, hanging space for approx 10 items and a safe (but we never used it). Towel changes daily and soaps, etc, replenished regularly. First day and we headed down for breakfast, which opens at 7am. You need a towel card to get towels that you're given at check-in along with your room cards (we got 2 per room). Our first day at the beach was a hot one, so we quickly decided that the pool was a better option for us, as getting a drink and cooling off was easier than navigating the rocky beach. If you prefer the sea, I'd recommend sea shoes. Sunbeds are extremely comfortable, some of the best we've experienced. Food was OK, choices average, main restaurant is buffet style with around 3-4 meat options, rice, pasta, potatoes, salad bar, fruit and desserts. 1 soup flavour and bread selection. There are 4 a la carte restaurants which can be booked 1 visit, per weeks stay, the Greek was 2 per weeks stay but we didn't really enjoy it, as we preferred to choose our dishes and here, they bring a selection of everything on the menu. The Italian, Asian and Route 66 were good and portion sizes very generous. Evening entertainment is a little limited, singers in the main bar (next to reception) plus a few shows on the weekly programme and Karaoke once a week but we found it a little too quiet so headed out a few times to a local bar. There is a bus stop on the top road which runs either to Coral Bay or Paphos Harbour, €1.50 per person, per ride. It's roughly a 10-minute walk uphill. We didn't book any excursions or taxis, but from talking to others reception, we're helpful when needing to book taxis. All in all, a nice holiday and great for us to visit an adults only resort now our family is grown up, but we did miss good evening entertainment so doubt we'd visit again in the future.

I don’t even know where to start with this review, this was the most incredible holiday we have been on together, the moment we got off the coach we was greeted by friendly staff, offered a glass of bubbly and shown to our rooms, the room was perfectly cleaned and we had a balcony with sea view. The amenities were amazing, it was good having three prong plugs so didn’t need to worry about the adaptor. The hotel was complete luxury for us, the staff were friendly, food was great. We loved that there was a choice of place to eat but one thing I will say is if you are booking the Al a carte restaurants book a few days in advanced as can get filled up quickly and only leave silly times to eat, we tried all three Al a carte restaurants the Route 66 was our favourite, we loved the snack bars all offering something different and the swim up bar was great. The entertainment was varied but great such as karaoke, bingo, Elvis Presley impersonation, dance shows etc it was truly a phenomenal experience. Want to say a big big shout out to the Entertainment team Nemo, Lucy & Anna what an incredible trio and we loved the energy from Nemo he was absolutely fantastic and he got to know us, calling us by our names the whole trip! I don’t have one negative thing to say about this hotel and we even said we’d look at coming again and we aren’t people that would visit the same place twice! One tiny thing is if you are expecting a beach front hotel that dips into white sandy beaches you may be disappointed, it is rather rocky/stony on the beach so this was a small setback for us but the rest of the hotel made up for this. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This hotel was a truly wonderful place. It looked opulant and elegant. The staff were amazing. They all went above and beyond to make sure the guests were happy. The restaurants were beautiful and they served masses of food every morning, afternoon and evening. The food was lovely and the staff were on hand at all times. Two particular young ladies in the restaurant were so sweet and helpful. On their feet at least 12 hours a day and never stopped smiling. Their names were 'Rosie' and 'Moon'. The local cats would roam around the the Hotel grounds but they were very well behaved. They didn't harrass anyone, and they were all friendly cats that loved getting strokes from people. They were a sweet little touch for us as we love cats. Our room was very pleasant and it was cleaned everyday, new towels everyday. It was the cleanest room I've stayed in, ever! The entertainment was good most of the time. I think they played Bingo a bit too often for my liking but each time didn't last that long, about 45 minutes. The Elvis Tribute was fantastic. He was a great entertainer. If there were any negatives to the Hotel they were minor things. For instance, the piped music everywhere you go did get a little irritating at times, but I'm sure most people didn't even notice. Unfortunately I have very sensitive hearing but I was able to get away from it if it got too much. Also the air-con in our room could have been slightly better but it wasn't bad enough for us to complain to reception about it. Lastly my biggest gripe was with our TUI rep. We went to the welcome meeting on our 3rd day there, up until then we'd not seen or heard a thing from TUI. At the meeting he told some of the guests off for asking questions. He quite rudely told us that if we had any questions then to see him after his monologue, which was basically about how he thought he was amazing at his job. However, we can't have everything we want in life and the Hotel and its staff made up for any annoyance from our illusive rep. The Hotel has a really great system for the sun loungers. No one goes without a lounger and it remains your lounger until you leave or if you want to move to a different free lounger. St Georges Beach Hotel is worth every penny. It is beautiful, luxurious, laid back and friendly. It felt more like an experience than just staying in a Hotel. My Husband and I will definately be going back. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our belated Honeymoon a wonderful trip.

Initial thoughts were good. Two pools that were comfortable temperatures and plenty of allocated sunbeds. Initially we thought one near the pool would be good, but we were happy with one on the grass between the pools and the sea as it was quieter. The hotel felt spacious- pools were pretty quiet and no queues anywhere. Food was pretty good for an all inclusive deal. The 4 speciality restaurants made a change as they were all table service. However none is in a separate location. One is in the lobby, another a section of the main restaurant and two are outside eateries. Rooms ok. Staff friendly. Plenty of bars and places for food like burgers, sandwiches, kebabs, etc. drinks ok too. We didn’t like much of the evening entertainment and, unfortunately it’s so LOUD that you can’t escape from it in your room. It does however end at 11:00. However the evening entertainment seems more suitable for a Hi De Hi holiday camp environment with cries of Shakey Shakey, lots of Karaoke, and audience participation. The last couple of days coincided with UK Spring Bank Holiday week. The hotel had significantly more younger guests which made it much noisier and felt more crowded round the pools. Probably the all inclusive drinks did not help and noise continued till gone 1am. We had thought during our first week that we’d book again for later this year or early next year. The entertainment was so bad and so intrusive that we decided we’d never come back. Big shame

We stayed here for a week in May and absolutely loved it. The hotel is lovely with three bars inside and three outside, four choices of a la carte restaurants. Great pools and sunbed areas with an allocation system which means you have your sunbeds for the week. The restaurant is very spacious and the food was lovely. We had a garden suite and it was lovely, it was cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets by the lovely tasoula and all were fantastic. We will definitely be going back. Doug and jo

When we arrived, our cases were whisked away from the coach by the very friendly, funny but professional porter, Panos. He really is a treasure. After checking in, Panos took us to our room and we were able to still catch the dinner service. On the whole, we found the food to be varied and, more importantly, of excellent quality. We never had to queue for a table mostly being shown to a table by either lovely Rosie or the ever smiling restaurant manager, Andreas. The tables are cleared quickly, there is always plenty of staff around. Apart from the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner, the Drops lunchtime restaurant and the snack bar by the pool, there are four other restaurants you can eat in but you need to book. There is the Italian, the Greek, the Asian and Route 66 the American diner. Our favourites were the Asian and Route66. The sunbed allocation scheme works very well. We chose our beds and asked to be put on the waiting list for the pool area. However, a couple of days later when we were offered sunbeds by the pool we turned them down, being happy where we were. We were in a nice quiet spot. There are two pools, the main one with a swim up bar and the much quieter, smaller infinity pool. We preferred that one. The entertainment team consist of Mimo, Lucy and Anna. The girls are lovely and work very hard encouraging people to partake in games, shuffleboard, darts, archery, yoga and aqua fit. Most evenings there are singers in the upstairs bar but we weren't that keen on some of them. A couple of nights there is bingo run by Mimo which is fun, then after there is another form of entertainment such as Cypriot dancers or karaoke. One night there was an Elvis impersonator who was very good. After a day in the sun and swimming, we finished up by enjoying a drink at the beach bar with fabulous views out to sea. Most days the lovely Olympia was to be found mixing the drinks and having a laugh with everyone. Before dinner, the Semeli wine bar is a good place to relax or if you want to watch the gorgeous sunsets, the terrace is the place to be. The beauty of the hotel is there are so many bars and areas to go, you never feel you are fighting for a seat or in the midst of a crowd. Overall, we loved the hotel. We found most of the staff to be very friendly and any issue we had was soon resolved by reception. Very efficient staff. Our room was spacious with a fridge and safe. However, when we return we will book a seaview room. We will definitely be back, hopefully next year sometime.
