I came to Chengdu with my friends and found this hotel on Ctrip. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic. We stayed in a deluxe king-size room. The room was very clean, with windows for ventilation, good air, and complete disposable supplies. Every day, there was an auntie who cleaned the room. The auntie was also very enthusiastic. When we asked about the washing machine, she took the initiative to take us there. The hotel is near the subway station and the transportation is very convenient.

Very convenient. Hotel is connected to a mall and subway. Lots of local food at the food centre opposite the hotel and there’s also a garden with tea house next to it. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. Amenities is great! There’s a 24hr gym and laundry room with all the necessary detergents. They also provide a laundry net in the room for guest. Breakfast is good too with a good selection of hot food, bread and noodles station. Appreciated the free upgrade of room from the hotel. I was given a city view suite that have a bathtub. The living room was big and gave me the convenience of having my work meeting with my business partners in the room instead of having to find another place. As this is a sports theme hotel, they also have yoga mat, fitness ball and interactive fitness mirror in the room. The sports water bottle is also free for guest to bring home. This is one of the best hotel I had even stay in Chengdu. Will be back again next time.

I arrived at the hotel quite late, and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic to help me reserve a parking space, which was great! When I returned to the room, I saw that it was spacious, stylish and cozy. I ordered a pizza for supper, which was not expensive and tasted good. The hotel manager on duty personally delivered it to my door and gave me two bowls of hot porridge. I was really touched!

I drove to a hotel in western Sichuan and stayed there. There is a subway station next to the hotel. The location is very good. There are also two shopping malls. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. There is an underground parking lot and free parking. It is very convenient. The service at the front desk is great, professional and enthusiastic. Thumbs up! The room is clean inside, the bed is very comfortable to sleep on, and I like the latex pillow very much. There is also a free massage chair to relax after a day of driving. I also went to the gym to experience it in the evening. It is small but complete. I heard that there are midnight snacks, but we were too full to eat at night, so we didn’t try it. It’s a pity. Overall, five-star praise!

The standard of Mercure is what it should be. The decoration is very similar to the Novotel I stayed in before, except that there is no bathtub and the room is slightly smaller than Novotel. There are welcome fruits and English tea bags and coffee. The breakfast is much richer than the Orange Crystal in the scenic area. The laundry room is crowded at night. It is recommended to wash clothes when you get up in the morning and have breakfast. Shoe towels and weighing scales are provided in the room. There is free mineral water in the gym, hot ginger tea in the water bar at the front desk, and tea and coffee machines are available for self-service. The view of the room is also very good during the day. I will stay here again when I come to Chengdu in the future.

The room is very good in all aspects, it is in a very high-end building. There were some problems with the service. After the store took us to the room, we showed him our ID card. He took a photo of our ID card directly with his mobile phone. This is actually illegal. Usually, the ID card information is uploaded to the check-in system or the system connected to the public security. Before staying in other hotels, either read the ID card directly at the front desk, or the front desk took a machine that could be uploaded to the room. This direct photo with a mobile phone is very irregular, which makes people very worried about information security issues. The check-in process is very unprofessional.

The rooms are very much worth the value. Note that the entrance is further to the side and the lobby is on the 5th floor. Besides that it's a all-round near a 5 star experience. If your intrest or reason of stay is in the new parts of the tainfu district and further new construction in the longfu new area. This place is right. The rooms are kept very clean amd modern.. They provide good branded bottled water in the rooms. The rooms have good veiws if your staying in the exct rooms or the family rooms which have a separator for the two queen beds. The reception and staff are very nice and quick with handling passports. For sleeping the ac is moderately silent but just averagly noticeable so turn it off when it's cool enough to sleep well. The rooms can get dark for better sleep and I do reccomend the breakfast it has a wide selection. This is the second - third stay since it's probably the best value for money you can get in terms of clean modern silent and spacious, atleast if you got membership status in your trip acc.

Stayed as a couple for 1 night in December. Hospitality at Heritage Hotel really made all the difference. Mr. Frontdesk was very cheerful and helpful. The hotel has no elevators, he and the other ladies would all help to carry our luggages up 1-2 floors. They were very helpful with storing our Taobao packages before we check-in as well. The hotel looked as aesthetic as it does online. Only regret is not staying longer!

Chengdu Travel Guide for First-time Visitors: Top Attractions, Transport Options & Tips

Chengdu Travel Guide for First-time Visitors: Top Attractions, Transport Options & Tips

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in southwestern China, is a city that effortlessly blends rich cultural heritage with a modern, vibrant lifestyle. Known as the home of the beloved Giant Panda, Chengdu attracts millions of tourists eager to visit its world-renowned research base and encounter these cuddly creatures up close. Beyond pandas, Chengdu is famed for its unique cuisine, especially spicy Sichuan hotpot, and its relaxed teahouse culture, where locals enjoy sipping tea and chatting for hours. Visitors are drawn to its laid-back pace, with tree-lined streets, bustling markets, and ancient temples offering a fascinating glimpse into both old and new China.

When it comes to travel tips, Chengdu is a gateway to other stunning destinations in Sichuan, including the majestic Mount Emei and the scenic Jiuzhaigou Valley. The city is also renowned for its thriving arts scene, from traditional Sichuan opera to modern art galleries. Searchers often look for insider tips on exploring Chengdu’s vibrant food scene, from street vendors to high-end restaurants, or tips for navigating the city’s many parks and historical sites. Whether seeking adventure or relaxation, Chengdu’s appeal is undeniable, making it one of China's most sought-after travel destinations.

Getting to and Around Chengdu

Ready to explore Chengdu, the gateway to Sichuan's culture and cuisine? Whether you're flying in, taking a train, or traveling by bus, getting to Chengdu is straightforward and hassle-free.

If you’re flying, Chengdu has two major airports: Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) and the newer Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU). Both airports are well-connected to the city, and your choice depends on where you're coming from and where you're headed next.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) , located about 50 kilometers southeast of the city center, is the newer of the two and handles a growing number of international and domestic flights. The airport is modern, spacious, and well-equipped. You can easily take the metro (Line 18) from the airport directly to downtown Chengdu in about 40 minutes. If you’re in a hurry or have lots of luggage, taxis and ride-hailing apps like Didi are readily available for a more direct trip.

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU), about 16 kilometers southwest of the city, remains the main hub for both domestic and international flights. From here, you can easily reach the city center via the Airport Express Metro Line (Line 10), a taxi, or an airport shuttle bus. Shuangliu is a bit more centrally located compared to Tianfu, making it a more convenient choice for some travelers.

Here are two recommended hotels in Chengdu that offer convenient shuttle services for easy access to the airports:

Hotel NameLocationDistance from Airport (CTU/TFU)Shuttle Service Info
Holiday Inn Chengdu AirportNo. 166, Tianfu Street, Shuangliu District, Chengdu1.5 miles from Shuangliu Airport (CTU)Free shuttle service available. Breakfast included.
Chengdu Tianfu HotelNo. 100, Tianfu Avenue South, Chengdu2 miles from Tianfu Airport (TFU)Airport shuttle service, available on request. Pre-booking required.

Both of these hotels offer excellent proximity to the airports and are ideal for travelers looking for convenience and comfort after a long journey.

Chengdu is a large city, but don’t worry—getting around is a breeze thanks to its well-developed public transport system.

Metro: Chengdu’s metro system is one of the most convenient ways to explore the city. The fares are affordable, with the base fare starting at CNY 2 for shorter rides. For longer trips, expect to pay a bit more, but it’s still very reasonable. Be aware that you'll need to go through security checks at the stations, so allow a little extra time for bag inspections.

Buses (公交): Chengdu's buses are an excellent option if you want to explore more local areas, especially for short trips. Fares start at CNY 2, and most buses are air-conditioned for comfort. While buses can be a little tricky for tourists, using a translation app or asking locals for help can make it much easier. They’re also a budget-friendly option compared to taxis or the metro.

Taxis (出租车): Taxis are plentiful in Chengdu, and you’ll find them easily available in most parts of the city. While you can hail a taxi on the street, it's often easier and more reliable to book a ride using a Didi app (China's version of Uber). Fares start at CNY 13, and using Didi is often cheaper than flagging down a regular taxi, especially during rush hours.

Best Areas to Stay in Chengdu

Best Areas to Stay in Chengdu

Wuhouci/Jinli Ancient Street: This area is ideal for first-time visitors looking to immerse themselves in Chengdu’s history and culture. You're just steps away from the iconic Wuhou Shrine and the charming Jinli Ancient Street, where you can stroll through traditional alleys, enjoy local snacks like chuan chuan (skewered meat) and spicy hotpot, and shop for souvenirs. It’s also the best spot for a taste of Sichuan opera with its famous face-changing performances. While it’s not the cheapest area to stay, you'll get a deep dive into the culture and all the must-see attractions within walking distance.

Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alleys): Looking for a more laid-back, hip vibe? Kuanzhai Alley is the place. This historical area has been modernized with trendy bars, tea houses, and boutique shops while retaining its ancient charm. It’s a great area to stay if you enjoy a more relaxed, local atmosphere with an artistic touch. The area is less touristy than Wuhouci but still close to major attractions like the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (a short metro ride away). It's a bit more affordable than the central tourist hubs, but the vibe is perfect for those seeking a cool, bohemian feel.

Chunxi Road/ Tianfu Square: If you love shopping and want to be in the heart of the city’s action, Chunxi Road is where you need to be. This pedestrian street is the shopping capital of Chengdu, with everything from luxury brands to local vendors. It’s always buzzing with energy, and Tianfu Square nearby offers easy access to the metro system, making it convenient to reach other parts of the city. While hotels in this area can be a bit on the pricier side, staying here means you’ll be at the center of everything, from shopping to restaurants, and easily connected to other attractions.

Must-Visit Attractions in Chengdu

Must-Visit Attractions in Chengdu

Chengdu offers a wide range of attractions for first-time visitors:

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding: One of the most iconic experiences in Chengdu is getting up close with the world-famous Giant Pandas. At the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, you can watch these adorable creatures in their natural habitat, feeding, playing, and interacting with each other. The research base is dedicated to conservation and is one of the best places to see pandas in China. The early morning is the best time to visit, as pandas are most active during this period. Don't forget to stop by the panda museum to learn about conservation efforts and the history of these gentle giants.

Jinli Anient Streect: For a taste of traditional Chengdu, Jinli Ancient Street is the perfect destination. This historic street takes you back in time with its traditional architecture, red lanterns, and winding alleyways. It's a place where you can wander through teahouses, local shops, and street food stalls selling Sichuan snacks. Watch local street performers showcasing traditional music and acrobatics, and don't miss out on the famous hand-pulled noodles or spicy tofu from one of the street vendors. It’s an ideal spot for those looking to experience the cultural heart of Chengdu while enjoying its vibrant atmosphere.

Wenshu Monastery: For a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, Wenshu Monastery is a serene Buddhist temple that offers a glimpse into Chengdu's spiritual side. Founded over a thousand years ago, this monastery is known for its beautiful architecture, peaceful gardens, and ancient Buddhist relics. You can take a moment of quiet reflection in the temple's gardens, or explore the surrounding vegetarian restaurant offering delicious local dishes. Wenshu Monastery is not just a religious site, but also a beautiful place to enjoy some tranquility in the middle of the city.

Chunxi Road: If you're a shopaholic or simply want to experience the modern side of Chengdu, Chunxi Road is the place to be. This bustling pedestrian street is packed with luxury boutiques, department stores, and a mix of local vendors. It’s one of Chengdu’s most famous shopping districts, where you can find everything from international brands to local souvenirs. The street is lined with malls, cafes, and restaurants, making it the perfect place to spend a few hours browsing, dining, and soaking in the lively atmosphere. If you're in the mood for a more upscale experience, the nearby Taikoo Li shopping center offers a chic blend of high-end boutiques and contemporary art galleries.

Leshan Giant Buddha: A short trip from Chengdu will lead you to the Leshan Giant Buddha, the world’s largest stone Buddha, carved into the cliffs where the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers meet. This monumental sculpture stands at an incredible 71 meters tall and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can either take a boat ride to see the Buddha from the river, or climb the nearby steps to get a close-up view. The site is not just a feat of engineering but also offers a peaceful ambiance, with lush green surroundings and scenic views of the rivers. This is a must-see for history buffs and nature lovers alike, offering a deep connection to Chinese culture and spirituality.

Must-Visit Attractions in Chengdu

Getting to Chengdu

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU)

Chengdu’s main international gateway, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, is located just 16 kilometers from the city center, making it a short drive to downtown. The airport connects Chengdu to major international hubs like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, as well as destinations across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Whether you're flying in for business or leisure, Shuangliu is well-equipped to handle both international and domestic flights.

  • Transportation from the Airport:
    • Metro: The Airport Express Line (Line 10) connects Shuangliu Airport to the city center, taking about 30 minutes.
    • Airport Shuttle: Multiple shuttle buses operate between the airport and various parts of the city.
    • Taxis: Taxis are readily available at the airport, and the ride to the city center typically takes about 30-40 minutes.
    • Ride-Hailing Apps: Services like Didi can also be used to book a ride directly from the airport for a more personalized experience.

Chengdu Railway Station

For those traveling within China, Chengdu Railway Station offers a well-connected hub for high-speed trains. Located in the city center, it’s easy to access from most major attractions and hotels.

  • Train Connections: Chengdu Railway Station is the main terminal for high-speed trains connecting Chengdu to other major cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chongqing, and more. It’s a great way to explore other regions of China while visiting Chengdu.
  • Transportation from the Station:
    • Metro: Chengdu Railway Station is directly connected to the metro system via Line 1, making it easy to get around the city once you arrive.
    • Taxis and Ride-Hailing: Taxis are available outside the station, and you can also use ride-hailing services like Didi for a faster and more convenient trip to your destination.

Getting Around Chengdu

Metro System

Chengdu boasts an efficient and affordable metro system that makes traveling around the city easy and comfortable. The system is well-developed with multiple lines, and more are being added as the city grows. The metro is the best option for avoiding traffic and getting to major destinations quickly.

  • Fares: Metro fares are affordable, starting at CNY 2 for short trips. The fare increases with distance, but it's still a budget-friendly option.
  • Lines and Coverage: Key lines include Line 1 (which runs from the Chengdu Railway Station to Zhujiang), Line 2 (connecting major areas like Chunxi Road and Wuhou Shrine), and the newer Line 7 and Line 10 that cover even more destinations.
  • Operating Hours: The metro runs from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, so it’s convenient for both daytime and evening travel.

Taxis and Ride-Hailing (Didi)

Taxis are a convenient way to get around Chengdu, but during rush hours or in busy areas, it may be a bit tricky to find one. Luckily, ride-hailing services like Didi are widely available in Chengdu and are often a better option for both locals and visitors.

  • Taxis: Taxis in Chengdu are relatively inexpensive, with a base fare of CNY 13. They are available at most major locations, such as airports, railway stations, and hotels. Just keep in mind that language barriers can sometimes be an issue, so having your destination written in Chinese can help.
  • Ride-Hailing: Apps like Didi are the local equivalent of Uber and are very popular in Chengdu. These services are typically cheaper than traditional taxis and are great for getting around quickly without the hassle of flagging down a cab. You can use Didi in both Mandarin and English, making it easier for international travelers.
  • Payment: Most taxis accept cash or WeChat Pay, but for Didi rides, it's best to use WeChat Pay or Alipay, which are widely used for cashless payments across China.

Public Buses

Chengdu’s public bus system is an economical way to get around, though it may be more challenging for newcomers due to the language barrier. Buses are particularly useful if you need to reach places that aren’t directly accessible by metro.

  • Bus Fares: Starting at CNY 2, buses are very affordable. Many buses are also air-conditioned, providing relief during the summer months.
  • Routes: Buses cover nearly all parts of the city, but the routes might be more difficult to navigate for non-Chinese speakers. Using a translation app or asking a local for help can make things easier.

GGuest UserA great hotel Concept: I like the concept of integrating hotels, cafes and bars, which makes the experience of staying in the hotel very convenient. Environment: I like the environment it creates in the old town, as if in the jungle, with many large green plants, indoors and outdoors. The big tree at the door is specially decorated with a parrot's nest, and the wall tiles in the bathroom are also green and gold with a jungle feel. The floor tiles in the bedroom also have the visual effect of a gravel road. Although you are indoors, you can also feel the concept of nature. Food: Every drink in the hotel, whether it is coffee or wine, is very beautiful and tastes great. Fuqin is a subway station away, and there are also many local snacks. Service: I like the front desk staff, who greet me with a smile every time I see them. One of the staff members also paid special attention to my preference for environment and service. Facilities: The bed is very comfortable and the shower water temperature is also great. There is a guide booklet at the door, which is very suitable for people who are not familiar with this place to refer to some travel information. Transportation: The subway station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are shared bicycles available at the door.

Tten.ten.2020Coming here again in the spring, this inn remains the highlight of my trip. Imagine having had a rough trip: the cold, intense population density, and tough business meetings. Weary, you get off a late flight with sore legs. You trudge over to the inn, turning the final corner into its warm lights, past the usual check-in time. You have no idea how things could go; some hotel receptions can be rather unpleasant. Your first brush with Xishu is its simple double glass doors, and the sight of a giant panda statue. You totter past it gingerly, unsure if anyone is awake at such a late hour. Ah. But someone is. A youthful girl smiles gently at you over the counter, ”Hello. Check in?” You smile awkwardly, unsure, ”Yes, I know it's late...” ”No,” She responds softly, ”It's ok. Could I get your passport?” There wasn't a fuss. She smiles and gets to work quietly, clicking away. You set your luggage down and look around. Behind you, you notice the little courtyard, a cultural icon of traditional chinese architecture. A small fountain sputters, fairy lights are strung above for the spring festival, casting a surreal ambience over everything. Wind chimes jingle faintly. You draw a breath at it all. Small tables and chairs are laid out, welcoming you. ”Your room key,” You turn around to see the youthful girl at the counter smiling gently with a keycard. She briefs you in the same calming tone; wifi, breakfast, washing machines, and even a map of attractions all planned out. You thank her, reminded of your travel fatigue, and head on up. Your footsteps are dampened by carpet, going in hallways of soothing chinese wooden interior designs. The inn is quiet at this hour, unlike the large hotels that have kids or travel groups. You tap your keycard to get in your room... And a small welcome basket awaits you. Apples and oranges, sweets, tiny little spicy sichuan snacks. The aesthetic of the room remains faithful to the inn, throwing you back down the memory lane... to Japanese ryokans, to Bali's traditional guest villas, or to vacation cottages in Europe. But something is a little different. Instead of stripping technology and modern convenience, this inn has woven it into its design. Air conditioning has been set for you. Smart toilet seats detect your presence and keep itself clean. Shower buttons are easy to understand, with a single easily controllable hot water lever. Even the mirror at the bathroom sink detects your presence and lights up, with a heating coil that prevents it from fogging on mornings. You wash up. Sleep. The next day, you wake for breakfast, barely after the sun had broken the steel gray of dawn, now you witness the inn's courtyard in the day. Nobody is seated outside yet in such low temperatures, but you take a moment to look around and just soak in the ambience. Uninterrupted. When you finally turn towards reception, you notice a pair youthful girls at the counter. Both quietly smiling and unassuming. Calming, instead of the forced professionalism at other hotels. There's something real here. A sincerity. A genuine kindness that permeates, perhaps from proximity to the monastery? Perhaps the unique historic district? Perhaps the owner and managers made it this way. The girls check your breakfast options again, in case you might have changed your mind. You totter into the resturant, barely awake, but a fresh cup of nespresso hits you quickly, a familiar aroma from home in a land 12,000km away from home. And then fruits. Milk. Toast bread. Butter! Sichuan noodles in the morning. Exotic dumplings. Eggs sunny side up. By the time breakfast is done, you know you will be returning here again. And again. I have. I've made friends with the hotel staff. I hope you will too. And if you love the people and place as much as I do, I hope you, too, will give it your best shot. If you've read this far, I hope we meet in this distant land. Some day.

GGuest UserThe B&B I stayed in on the first day of my trip to western Sichuan was very comfortable. The B&B is decorated with unique features, spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a superior geographical location, close to Yangtianwo Square, Guanxian Ancient City, Dujiangyan and other scenic spots, and can be reached on foot. The store service is very good, enthusiastically introducing travel routes, and also upgraded the room for free. It is definitely the first choice for travel accommodation.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road. 2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm. 3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best. 4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible. 5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose. 6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out. 7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron. 8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes. 9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

PPusabaoyoupingpinganandeyouziBecause I like the appearance of the hotel very much, I chose to stay at the Louis Castle Bronze Hotel. The hotel is not only beautiful in appearance, but the stay experience this time is also great! The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. There are many restaurants and shopping centers around it, which is very convenient for travel. The room is spacious and bright, the decoration style is French style, and the facilities are complete. Especially the bedding is very comfortable and I slept very well. The sanitary conditions are impeccable. There is a special person to clean every day, and the room is spotless. The hotel's service staff is warm and thoughtful. 🌈🌈I felt meticulous care from check-in to check-out. The breakfast is rich in variety, combining Chinese and Western styles, and the taste is also very good. Overall, this hotel is worth the money in terms of hardware and service. ☕️☕️ is very suitable for taking pictures and checking in. I will choose here next time! 🌈☕

AAnonymous UserThe location is remote, totally unexpected. We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road. We were all alert and concerned about where we were heading. A real scare!! Other than that, everything is okay for a night stay.
