I was so tired from having a full day and hours of driving that I decided to give this old hotel a chance and proceed with check in. It was near midnight when I lay down and within an hour I was awakened. A sharp pain in my side snatched me out of my sleep. I turned on the lights and found a red bump on my ribs and immediately begun further inspection. Bed bugs! I took pictures, grab my stuff and went to the front desk. When i told the attendant, he was completely unbothered. when I said bed bugs, he had his script ready. I could tell he had rehe****d because even when I asked for my refund he repeated it verbatim. I was too sleepy to deal with it then so I just left and checked into a better hotel in the area. .

Checked in at front counter but the word "hello" or any other greeting was never uttered. Upon arrival in the room I spotted and crushed a bug on the bathroom counter (roach? Dunno). Room looks ok at first glance, but a closer look & it's pretty rough. The room smelled stuffy to us both. I thought it even smelled like stale smoke despite it being a non-smoking room/hotel?
Bed sloped to middle. Small squishy pillows. Appreciated the pancake machine at breakfast but the rest was very basic. No peanut butter!? A microwave is in the breakfast area but no dish ware that can go in it - all Styrofoam. Would prefer paper plates, bowls & cups all around.
Signs in hotel pointed to a fitness centre which caught my interest. Turns out its closed & used for their storage.

The place is decent enough, I suppose. I did find a cockroach in my room one of the days I was there. For two of the days the hot water in the shower only lasted for a few minutes. I told the receptionist about it the first day, they said that they would have someone look into it. I would guess they'll have to look into the matter further. I really don't like their policy of having to pay an incidental fee upon check in.

Overall the motel was nice. Not out dated. The fitness room was closed- I didn't see any equipment in there. There were 3 small roaches in our room. The area around the shower door was filthy to the point of being gross. Other than that the room was clean.

Property in rough shape. Added damage deposit to payment rather than putting a hold on card. Said we'd get a refund in 10 to 15 days. Since i was paying CAD, i'll loose money on the reunds exchange rate. The room already had damage & stains on the carpet. Hoping they refund our damage depisit.

Check in process was extremely slow, took 30 minutes to get me checked in. The front desk had to walk up to the room to verify that it was clean. It was not yet clean, he then had to call the manager to figure out how to change my room in the system. Check in time is 3PM this was 345 pm room should have all been cleaned by check in time. The room they moved me into smelled awful, smelled like stale smoke and cheap air freshener. the bathroom was gross, the pillows were so lumpy i had to go and buy my own pillows. The advertised breakfast consisted of cereal and bagels. No hot food options. I paid $185 per night and this hotel was a complete disaster i will never stay at this hotel again.

Got in very late but were greeted at the desk right away. Got into our room quickly, which was very clean and comfortable. All amenities were in good condition, we had ready access to the wifi, and enjoyed our included breakfast before checkout. Would absolutely recommend to travelers in the area.
