On my last day at Cay Beach Princess, as a solo female, I loved it. I booked a superior/premium bungalow, which as far as I can tell the only difference is you get a slightly bigger bungalow but with sunbeds. I was self catering so can't comment on the food, tho it did smell good! There is a small shop on site which is open from 8am-8pm. It's a fair price in general, tho you can get a bigger variety at Faro 2 (15 mins walk) If you're self catering like me, I'd say go to Faro 2, much cheaper on fresh food and booze. I came for a wind down, so didn't do a lot. I did walk to Lighthouse (30mins) and Dunes (40mins). I took bus 32 (from behind complex) to Peurto Mogan which was 4 euros and 30min journey. Peurto Mogan is very pretty, have a look about and stop for a drink/food but only a 2hr visit really. I got the bus 1 back (drops opposite complex), as 32 doesn't run late, but it's a coastal route and takes 1hr, you do feel like an extra on Italian Job !! Cay Beach is a very quiet resort (which I loved), pool opens at 10am, shuts at 6pm, no real entertainment apart from lunchtime bingo. I think kids might be a bit bored, the pool rules are strict, there is air hockey and a pool table but I'm sure they charge Other than a Fri/Sat night singer, there isn't anything else. Most of my neighbours here go to Yumbo centre of an evening. I'd say this resort is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet getaway in the sun. Me, I loved it and ready to book again, as a solo female traveller I felt welcomed and safe. Top Job Cay Beach!
